Aiming at grounding the design of a Peace Culture strategy for the relationships among Peru and its bordering countries, a research was developed in 409 Education students: 159 from a private and 250 from a public university. Relationships among six independent variables: Dogmatism (DOG), Right-Wing Authoritarianism (RWA), Social Domination (SDO), Machiavellianism (MAQ), Nationalism (NAC) and Patriotism (PAT) with five dependent variables (perception on attitudes towards Peru in the areas of: Courtesy, Non-Probability of War, Trustworthiness, Solidarity and Cooperativeness-Conflictiveness) as perceived in five bordering countries: Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, and Chile, were assessed. The design and optimization of space, as well as visual merchandising, are techniques that impact the sale new concepts such as omnicanality and buying experience are fed by data analytics in order to describe the commercial mode; and new qualitative sources of information, among them color theory, specially help to understand and predict the impact of future decisions on the point of sale. This paper describes the utility of image processing techniques to innovate the retail market in the effort to extract useful information from advertising pieces frequently used in this sector.

Puya raimondii is an endemic species from the high Andes of Peru and Bolivia. In Peru it is distributed from 8.068501°S, 16.170280°W to 16.180580°S, 70.658873°W, between 3600 and 4800 m, living in extreme climatic conditions typical of the Puna, where it plays an important ecological role. Despite the wide distribution of P. raimondii populations in Peru, they appear to be fairly uniform morphologically. El presente trabajo investigación de tesis tuvo como principal objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento de las infecciones de transmisión sexual en mujeres de 15 a 49 años de edad atendidas en el servicio de obstetricia del hospital de Barranca, durante los meses de enero a mayo de 2015. Además se realizó un estudio de tipo básico y nivel descriptivo, donde se usó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario formado de 24 preguntas, que luego se aplicó a una muestra de 80 mujeres de un total de 200 mujeres de 15 a 19 años de edad que fueron atendidas en el servicio de obstetricia. La presente investigación; tuvo como objetivo; conocer los factores de riesgo para ITS/VIH/SIDA en estudiantes del tercer año de Medicina Humana de la Universidad San Juan Bautista; en el periodo de Enero a Junio 2014, el tipo de estudio fue descriptivo prospectivo de corte transversal. Se encuesto a 95 estudiantes; Obteniendo como resultados relevante que; el 58% (55) son mujeres, el 72.63% (69) fluctúa en edades de 20 a 24 años, el 8.42% (8) alumnos refieren que “tienen más de una pareja sexual” el 41% (39) estudiantes “refieren que han tenido alguna ITS”. Los resultados de esta investigación tuvieron un impacto social, ya que permitió contribuir en la promoción y control, del desarrollo de esta etapa del adolescente; creando conciencia en la juventud actual por eso nuestro objetivo fue determinar los factores socio – culturales que se relacionan con el inicio de las relaciones coitales en adolescentes. En el trabajo de investigación se utilizó la metodología tipo descriptivo, corte transversal, correlacional y diseño no experimental. La muestra se conformó por adolescentes que ya iniciaron su relación coital. El instrumento que se utilizó para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta. Las Infecciones de Transmisión Sexual constituyen un problema de salud pública a nivel nacional y mundial, afectando a varones y mujeres, en especial a los adolescentes debido al comportamiento sexual y a la edad de los mismos. En este marco, se realiza el presente estudio cuyo principal objetivo fue estudiar el nivel de conocimientos sobre las Infecciones de Transmisión Sexual y su prevención en los adolescentes de la I.E. José Faustino Sánchez Carrión. El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo y uso del Método de inducción - deducción. La muestra estuvo conformada por 120 estudiantes, de 14 a 18 años de edad, de ambos sexos, pertenecientes al 5° y 4° grado de secundaria, secciones A y B; se utilizó como instrumento un cuestionario para la recolección de datos.

La baja adherencia a la consulta para las Infecciones de transmisión sexual y el VIH/SIDA se conoce actualmente como una problemática vigente de salud pública a nivel universal (1). The Free Trade Agreement between Peru and China has as characteristics a long process of gestation and a brief process of negotiation. Tariffs benefits agreed allow for the great majority of potential Peruvian exports products to have access to tariffs reductions. On the other hand, almost all Peruvian products sensitive to Chinese competition were excluded from the tariff reduction process or were included with up to 17 years of tariffs reductions. After nine years of entering into force, it is concluded that the agreement has been beneficial for Peru, notwithstanding the essential characteristic of its trade structure: that of being interindustrial.

This format has generated a community of followers who expand its original content by creating mimetic sector-specific news programs. This study analyzes the thematic agenda and stylistic features of the IMPAT, as well as the news programs developed by its followers. The results show a predominance of soft news and non-news content, as well as the presence of narrative traits characteristic of infotainment. This article analyzes the theoretical and epistemological elaborations of Luhmann about the problem of meaning. Its aim is to trace the key tension that crosses the different inflections of his proposal: between a formal definition of meaning, with the distinction of selective actuality and the horizon of potentialities, and its taking form, parting from the operations of systems. Hookworm is generally caused by Necator americanus (Stiles, 1902), causing digestive symptoms and anemia. The diagnosis by coprology can have low sensitivity, especially in light parasite loads. The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a sensitive and specific technique, which must be adapted to laboratory conditions and positive controls are necessary. The objective of this work was the standardization of the PCR technique for the amplification of the ITS-1 sequence of N. americanus in stool samples and its cloning for its use as a control. Three DNA extraction protocols were standardized (Phenol/chloroform, Saline Precipitation, and Chelex® 100 Resin). Este estudio tuvo como objetivo caracterizar morfológica y genéticamente las seis especies taxonómicas más un morfotipo del género Plukenetia reportadas para la Amazonía peruana: P. volubilis, P. brachybotrya, P. loretensis, P. polyadenia, P. huayllabambana, P. carolis-vegae y Plukenetia sp. morfotipo Cusco.
