This paper develops a mathematical model to simulate dynamically a reverse osmosis system. The model is formed from materials balances macroscopic unsteady state combined with the model membrane transport: diffusion-solution. In this first part, we solve the system of differential equations assuming a completely mixed flow pattern in the reverse osmosis module (module polarization = 1). The system of equations is solved simultaneously by the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method. The results indicate that increasing the area of membrane or pressure increases the volume of recovered product and increasing the initial concentration in the feed reduces the permeate flow severely.

RESUMEN Esta investigación sobre el problema del empleo en la Región Junín (Perú), se enfoca a partir del pensamiento sistémico, para comprender el problema en sí; En el ámbito de estudio, las poblaciones económicamente activas no poseen la educación y capacitación necesaria, por lo que no poseen las herramientas adecuadas; a consecuencia de ello el salario es inferior al mínimo legal, generalmente el empleo es informal en los sectores agricultura, artesanía, carpintería, zapatería (INEI, 2009). The atmosphere is a major element in the preservation of the quality of life we want. The population growth is one of the main factors that influence air pollution, for what is considered necessary to analyze the relationship of pollution and its effects on the population. The effect of these parameters on pollution and population health has been studied as a cause and effect so that using a computer simulation program; we can study their behavior in the future. In this way we would be in the potential for reducing air pollution, or at least prevent its increase, by control of these parameters.

El Perú presenta resultados insatisfactorios en evaluaciones internacionales y nacionales en el área de lectura. A medida que los grados avanzan, los porcentajes de satisfacción van disminuyendo. El problema radica en que los estudiantes no son capaces de comprender lo que están leyendo en su totalidad debido a que inician su vida académica con un bajo rendimiento. This study investigates the gender dynamics in how Colombian members of Congress use Twitter during electoral and non-electoral periods. Using a quantitative analysis of 689,576 tweets collected in 2020 and 2022, the findings reveal nuanced differences in social media behaviour between male and female politicians. While male politicians generally have a larger follower base and higher retweet rates during non-electoral periods, these advantages diminish or even reverse during elections. Female politicians show relative gains in retweets and follower acquisition during electoral periods, suggesting that heightened competition and visibility create a more level playing field for engagement. We have determined quantitatively Coliforms and Enterococcus in the mollusk Aulacomya ater "choro", as an index of human enteric contamination during the preparing process of "cebiche". There have been processed 1152 specimens from Lima and Callao markets. The highest average of contamination for both microbial groups, in choros uncooked (part a), from markets situated in places with little hygiene' conditions and more population. The environmental temperature in summer’ months show us an increscent of this kind of microbial organisms. The temperature of cooking from specimens before preparing “cebiche” (part b), gets to kill all the microbial forms, reappearing Coliforms (part c), as a result of the addition of condiments. The lemon juice did not actuate as effective bactericidal.

Los geckos de Lima (Phyllodactylus sentosus) son una especie endémica del Perú y en peligro crıtico de extinción, se les ha registrado en un bajo número de localidades de ocurrencia, aisladas entre sı, en la ciudad de Lima y en la región Ica. Realizamos evaluaciones mensuales para determinar la influencia de los factores ambientales en el tamaño y la dinámica poblacional de esta especie en la Huaca Pucllana a lo largo de un año, ya que esta localidad mantiene una de las poblaciones más grandes en Lima. Tomamos medidas corporales y datos reproductivos e hicimos un total de 1924 capturas y recapturas. Objectives: To describe the behavior and trends of medical care for Colorectal Cancer (CRC) during the period 2018-2023 in the Peruvian health system. Materials and Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted to analyze the behavior of CRC care in Peru. The open database of the National Superintendence of Health (SUSALUD) was used. The variables included: CIE-X diagnosis compatible with CRC; age groups, sex, place, and period of care. Microsoft Excel 365 and STATA v.18.0 were used for statistical analysis. Results: The rate of outpatient care for CRC was 10.89 per 10 000 outpatient attendances for all causes (range: 8.01 – 13.61); of attendances for CCR: 68.54% for colon cancer; 29.7% for rectal cancer; and 1.76% for cancer of the rectosigmoid junction. This research analyzes the relationship between social factors and monetary poverty in the Loreto region during the year 2023. Using a quantitative, correlational, and non-experimental design, a logistic regression model was applied to estimate the influence of perceived insecurity, institutional trust, formal employment, and education on the probability of a household being poor. The results show that perceived insecurity has a negative relationship with poverty, suggesting that higher-income households may report greater insecurity due to their location in more economically dynamic urban areas. On the other hand, trust in institutions is positively associated with poverty, possibly reflecting a dependence of vulnerable households on social assistance programs. A model of Real Business Cycles that includes a sector that generates Research and Development (R&D) at the product level is estimated in order to assess the quantitative importance of this sector in the macroeconomic dynamics of a small and open economy like the Peruvian economy. It is found that an efficiently innovative product-level sector plays a crucial role as a "shield" for the economy against exogenous shocks and amplifies macroeconomic dynamics in the face of R&D policies. Thus, the R&D sector manages mitigates the initial impact on economic growth arising from an adverse internal shock by 0.6 percentage points, and from an unfavorable external shock by 2 percentage points compared to the scenario without an R&D sector. During the last thirty years, the adult population over sixty years of age has had a constant increase as a proportion of the total national population. An important factor in studying the location and socioeconomic condition of this population segment is related to the demand for specialized health services. This article aims to "identify the municipal distribution of the Colombian adult population over sixty years old".
