A crucial aspect of evaluating and maintaining a photovoltaic (PV) installation connected to the grid is the availability of models that describe its operation reliably in real operating conditions. The nominal power of the PV generator (P*M) is considered an essential input parameter, and several models have been proposed to estimate P*M for characterizing the PV system. In the case of PV generators in outdoor conditions, the American Society for Testing and Materials, the International Electrotechnical Commission, and others have proposed procedures to determine the P*M of the generator. As part of these procedures, monitoring days with ideal conditions is mandatory, notably days with a clear sky, high irradiance values, and low wind speeds. Such restrictions can limit the number of suitable monitoring days, especially in places where clouds frequently form. This thesis proposes a new ...

Currently there are tools that generate source code automatically. We propose a source code generation architecture focused on the 3-layer architecture, additionally we build a source code generation tool. The Tool allows to load a database schema and from this it generates the source code for the SQL Server and C# language, we use an .xls file to import or export the database schema. We have used 5 code generation requirements and their database schemas for the test, obtaining as a result the generation of source code without errors. Carrying out the time analysis, our model generates 6,998 lines of code per second, in total we have generated 13,283 lines of source code in 1472 milliseconds that correspond to 5 requirements for generating source code with their respective databases.

This article on the ethics of artificial intelligence, based on image generation, contains a comprehensive analysis of the ethical and practical dilemmas associated with AI. In the introduction, we highlight the widespread impact of AI on human society and emphasize the importance of addressing the ethical dilemmas arising from its use, distinguishing in areas such as decision making in autonomous vehicles. The methodology proposed includes literature review, ethical self-assessment using specialized tools, and case study analysis to identify ethical and unethical patterns.  The results achieved reveal that the models are capable of generating high quality images in an ethical manner, avoiding the promotion of harmful stereotypes. However, the presence of biases and lack of transparency in the model is determined. Practical ethical considerations for the use of the model in real app...

The possession of integral models that allow to dimension new knowledge continues being a challenge to demonstrate. The purpose of study was to describe a methodological cognitive model for the generation and contribution of scientific results. Through the quantitative technique by content analysis, the proposed model was constructed, which consisted of three processes: 1st) management of scientific information, 2nd) cognitive interpretation; and 3rd) scientific writing. Each process derives recognition structures in a transitional manner, which makes it possible to, the construction towards a validated information. It was concluded that, in any field of research, it is required from the capture of primary information until the new scientific communication achieved as far as the proposed model allowed.

Denoising diffusion probabilistic models (DDPMs) have demonstrated significant potential in addressing complex image processing challenges. This paper explores the application of DDPMs in three different areas: reconstruction of remote sensing imagery affected by cloud cover, reconstruction of facial images with occluded areas, and segmentation of bodies of water from remote sensing imagery. Inpainting involves filling in missing regions in images, while DDPMs act as data generators capable of synthesizing information that alings coherently with the context of the original data. Inspired by the inpainting technique, the RePaint approach was adapted and applied to reconstruction tasks. The WaterSegDiff approach, which uses a diffusion model as a backbone, was employed for the segmentation task. To illustrate the model’s behavior and provide examples of the tasks, experiments were carrie...

The purpose was to analyze how the transfer of knowledge is managed in an institution of higher education by analyzing a model of structural equations. The research was conducted on the basis proposed by Molina and Marsal (2002) model, analyzing the implication of the high direction, organizational culture, management skills, technology, knowledge management processes and indicators. The questionnaire consisted of 34 questions in Likert scale. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient obtained for the six variables was .948. It was noted that managers integrate and support knowledge management; participants are considered responsible for their own information. The influence of the observed variables in the variable under study was identified through analysis of a structural equation model.

This paper describes the implementation of a tool for automated generation of user stories from a graphical model. The objective-oriented modeling approach is applied, which uses the notation i*. The main rationale is that the business objective is not the one that changes, but the ways in which it can be achieved. Once the requirements are compiled through this model, user stories are generated automatically for later traceability. These comply with the basic standard proposed in agile methodologies ensuring that, when arriving at the hands of the developer, there are no ambiguities in either of the two perspectives: graphical and narrative. The results of the tests with developers and analysts, as well as the application of a questionnaire, showed that the proposed tool contributes directly to the establishment of precise, complete and consistent requirements, optimizing the time used ...

This research work describes a project to improve the electrical installations of a mining site in Peru due to energy shortage problems. The mining site is vital for the national production of silver, lead and zinc, which boosts the economy and generates employment. The lack of electricity supply affects ventilation in underground workings and other operations. The capacity of the existing generator sets does not cover the demand, and energy is rationalized, generating outages in the camp and other operational areas, affecting the quality of life of the collaborator. The improvement proposal consists of centralizing two generating sets in the same place, a main GE and an auxiliary one, an installation design is proposed that covers the sizing of the generating set to the power distribution, and applying reactive power compensation through capacitors. A model 3508TA generator set with a p...
