Through this leraning session development, it is intended to build in the student the necessary information so that they learn how to carry out measurements and comparisons objects lengths in their environment, with arbitrary units. Learning mathematics contributes to forming citizens capable of searching, organizing, systematizing and analyzing information to understand and interpret their surrounding world, to solve problems using mathematical strategies and knowledge. The magnitudes measurement constitutes a contents traditionally list used in elementary and high school education, no curriculum reform has left out this thematic nucleus of great utility in practical citizen life. But it is that, in addition to this utility, if it is analyzed from a mathematical point of view, what knowledge is behind the magnitudes measurement, we find refined and complex concepts that have been incorp...

The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) are independent methodologies, that can be used and developed freely, but can be an important enhancer when you want to achieve innovation if they work together. The objective of this article is to present an analysis of the customers’ requirements in a product manufactured with biodegradable materials, the output result when applying the QFD was the quality critic related to toxicity, while the input information for the matrix TRIZ’s technical contradictions were the translation of the quality critic to one of the 39 technical design parameters, corresponding to parameter 30 (Harmful factors acting on the object from outside), being considered as the transfer point between the methodologies thus achieving the integration of both.

Governments are implementing fiscal and monetary flexibility to reverse the negative effects of global crisis, but the results are sterile or minimal. Despite that injected billions of dollars to save their financial operations, multinational corporations continue to show signs of economic deterioration, so much so that flagship companies in the world have fallen into the worst crisis in the history. The fact that businesses continue in the pernicious cycle of crisis; although, financial aid is valid to assert that the paradigms of business also need a deep restructuring of their philosophy. That is why the crisis facing the model of globalization and economic merits of solutions that will not be sustainable over time, which requires global solutions, inclusive and integrate in such a way that leads to the world economy to grow symmetrically banishing all this action is know as speculato...

One of the themes of interest in the archeological study of the Ychsma concerns the territory occupied and administrated by this culture during the Late Intermediate period (1470–1532 AD) and the Late Horizon. Ethno-historical sources limit the Ychsma occupation to the Rimac and Lurín valleys on the central coast, while certain archeological evidences seem to define a larger territory, including the Chilca and the Mala valleys. Although still in analysis, this article develops the problematic of the Ychsma territory with a perspective that considers territory as a space conformed by the cultural homogeneity and diversity. This way we try to choose a different approach to the archeological evidences of the Ychsma and to obtain a dynamic and not static understanding.

This work analyzes the technical problem in which the discourse of inclusive education has become through the lack of ethical responsibility of educational provision, a liberal argument that reinforces the permanent defense of rights while the conditions of oppression and domination conceived in terms of injustice continue to operate strongly in the life of each person and community. The objective of this work is to document how educational policies, knowledge production and teacher training, put on the rhetorical costume of the special or rather, the neo-special, to justify the sense of the inclusive. Although the special is a form of inclusion, inclusion is not necessarily a form of the special, it is a cultural revolution, a space for the production of other worlds, of fracture and permanent challenge of pedagogical knowledge. The lack of analytical rigor of these educational policies...

Basically, the problem philosophy is to solve if wheth-er the origin of things come from a fact realized by a supernatural being -expressed as an “idealistic” origin- or the other, which states, that the origin of things, is evolution of the matter itself and is known like “materialistic” origin. This is obviously held by great thinkers like Aristotle, Aquinas, Kant and Democritus, Bacon and Locke among others respec-tively. In this sense, these two opposed philosophical currents (idealism and materialism), expose the ways of conceptualizing the origin of the “thing” or object, generating a very wide series of currents that support what was previously expressed. However, for a much more pragmatic conceptualization for the realization of our research, we consider only these two basic phil-osophical currents. This will allow us to analyze and apply the philosophical concept in ...

This article seeks to explain the problem of literacy in Peru (1); it focuses on the lack of information regarding how children learn or acquire writing skills, which allows initial literacy. It proposes to universities and educational institutes to incorporate into their curricula a closest approach to child development, specifically the period of the first seven years, crucial in the reader and writer training. Also, it invokes to decline traditional practices, which determine the failure of active and reflective readers from initial education and explain in part why the university and Peruvian professionals read little or write short texts. Along this line, it outlines the difficulties of the student to use writing as a personal way of processing information and as a tool to interact with their environment. In the last section there is a list of the concepts and processes that should ...

The flow of a laminar fluid that filters through a porous medium is considered. This behavior leads to the formulation of a mathematical model that, through the Baiocchi transformation, allows it to be expressed as a free boundary problem. In this we wish to evaluate the pressure gradient of the fluid in the medium. The present work consists of the following: i) variational formulation of the problem il) study ofthe existence and uniqueness of the solution and iii) numerical resolution of the problem ofgenerated convex minimization. To find the numerical solution of the variational inequality, the Finite Element method and the Uzawa algorithm have been used.In the numerical simulation of the dam problem, the domain has been consideredof computational calculation, a rectangular IR geometry, assuming as known boundaries, the impermeable zone, the one in contact with the air and the one tha...

The recognition of indigenous rights in the Constitution of Venezuela 1999 represents a conceptual tension in the way of conceiving the citizenship: means transit of a homogeneous citizenship to other multicultural character. However, the realization of those rights has found practical difficulties relating to land titling, lack of political backing for indigenous interests, conflicts with the armed forces, among others, that do lose sight of the conceptual problems underlying the recognition and the construction of citizenship. The aim of this trial, based on a hermeneutic methodology and supported in discourse analysis of documentary sources, will be present some reflections on conceptual tensions that underlie problems of realization of indigenous rights in Venezuela in the last decade, in particular those related to the construction of a multicultural citizenship. The main...

This paper reconstructs the place of music in the division of the arts proposed by Kant in his third Critique, focusing on the aspects that make music an art difficult to characterise. For this purpose, it exposes the foundations that allow situating music at the highest levels of Kant’s incipient system of the arts, as well as the reasons that allow placing it on the lowest ones. In addition, the paper approaches the problem of the pendular place of music as a beautiful art and as an agreeable art, recovering and contrasting different passages of Kant’s Critique of Judgement. To complement this last aim, readings from different thinkers are reviewed, considering, on the one hand, those who claim that Kant characterises music as a beautiful art, and, on the other hand, those who claim that he characterises it as a mere agreeable art. Finally, this paper presents the conclusions ...

It is important and crucial to begin in a committed way to face the different ocular diseases chronologically framed according to statistical, epidemiological and demographic studies in each region of the country to improve the level of attention of the population. This would lead to the formation of multidisciplinary teams that work inter-sectorally to combat the prevailing pathologies of eye problems: in neonates such as Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), Retinoblastoma, visual defects and amblyopia of childhood and adolescence; infectious and degenerative conditions of the ocular surface such as pterygium, an important cause of blindness, various types of conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers that compromise vision; and in the elderly, glaucoma, cataract and retinal, macular and vitreous problems associated with systemic, metabolic and degenerative diseases.

Teleosemantic is the theory that proposes an explanation of mental representation on the basis of the Darwinian theory of biological function. Although Darwin explains biological traits for both historical and adaptationist causes, Papineau and other proponents of teleosemantic rely only on the adaptationist dimension of the theory to account for the identity of the biological trait. This is shown in the teleosemantic response to the possibility that an exact duplicate of a human arose from non-evolutionary causes (the swampman). Clarifying the question about the homological nature of the trait identity is central to addressing the swampman argument. This argument has been renewed in the form of an empirical counterexample: the existence of functional tetrachromacy, a condition that would constitute a real case of mental representation that is not the result of a selection process. I wil...
