The aim of this research was to evaluate the use of different extenders for cooling of rabbit semen and its effect on sperm quality. Thirty semen samples from 10 sexually mature rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) were used. Each sample was diluted separately in a 1:10 ratio in four extenders, composed of skim milk and sugars (T1); dextrose, sodium citrate, and potassium acetate (T2); sodium caseinates, phosphates and sugars (T3); and tris-citric acid and egg yolk (T4). The semen was kept at 16 °C for 72 hours. At the time of dilution and every 24 hours, total motility (MT), progressive motility (MP) and sperm kinetics were evaluated with the Sperm Class Analyzer® system, and vitality and morphology were evaluated by the eosin-nigrosin staining. The indiscriminate use of antimicrobials has led enterobacteria such as Escherichia coli to develop a variety of resistance mechanisms such as the production of extended-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBL). Beta-lactam antimicrobials including penicillins, monobactams, and cephalosporins are among the most widely used in both animals and humans; Therefore, the presence of ESBL-producing E. coli (ESBL-EC) has the ability to hydrolyze these antimicrobials, leading to resistance against this class of agents, which represents a potencial threat to human and animal health. Extendemos los estadísticos tipo M para una raíz unitaria analizados por Perron y Ng (1996) y Ng y Perron (2001) al caso donde se permite que el cambio en la función de tendencia ocurra en un punto desconocido. Estos estadísticos (MGLS) adoptan el enfoque GLS para eliminar la tendencia desarrollado por Elliott et al. (1996) (ERS) siguiendo los resultados de Dufour y King (1991). Siguiendo a Perron (1989), consideramos dos modelos: uno que permite un cambio en la pendiente y otro que permite tanto un cambio en el intercepto como en la pendiente. Generalmente, esto es consecuencia de los altos costos que un monitoreo constante en las carreteras ocasionaría, es así que se prefiere la rehabilitación cuando la vía está muy deteriorada en vez de optar por un mantenimiento preventivo que alargue la vida útil de esta. El sistema de agua potable de la localidad de Calemar, jurisdicción de distrito de Bambamarca, provincia de Bolívar, departamento La Libertad; cuenta con una captación tipo manantial, cuyo aforo es de 0.50 l/s, siendo este un problema porque el caudal no satisface la demanda de la población actual. El promedio de la densidad poblacional a nivel distrital, provincial y departamental es de 3.02 hab/viv, el número de conexiones es 186 und, dando como resultado una población actual de 553 habitantes y que en un periodo de 20 años la población de diseño es 723 habitantes. A pesar de que los modelos de clases latentes han recibido gran atención en la evaluación social y otros campos, estos modelos son estáticos o de corte transversal y hay poco trabajo investigativo en modelos longitudinales. Este trabajo estudia el análisis de transición de clases latentes (LTA), observando el cambio en la clasificación de clases a través del tiempo. Se desarrolla el modelo teórico para dos períodos y se extiende luego este para más de dos períodos, estudiándose sus parámetros y estimación a través del algoritmo de Esperanza- Maximización (EM). Se detallan también criterios para la selección de modelos definiendo teóricamente la razón de su uso. Finalmente, se realiza un estudio de aplicación en Mplus y en R sobre una base de datos de acoso escolar(bullying).

Antimicrobial resistance is one of the greatest threats to public health, and hospital wastewater effluents are an important source of transmission for resistant pathogens. The objective of this study was to determine the presence of multidrug-resistant bacteria producing extended-spectrum beta-lactamases, AmpC, and carbapenemases in hospital effluents from three regions of Peru. Bacteria were collected and characterized from nine hospitals using chromogenic media and an automated microbiology system. Conventional PCR was also used to identify resistance genes for beta-lactamases, such as blaCTX-M, blaTEM, blaSHV, blaAmpC, and carbapenemases like KPC, NDM, and IMP.
