The objective of this paper is to explain the methodological design of competency assessment, based on evidence as a new way of assessing performance in a more objective and contextual way. This proposal is the product of the theoretical review and empirical experiences that combined with critical analysis allows establishing a more objective methodology resource to evaluate competences, different from the traditional cognitive assessment.Performance-based evaluation articulates planning, execution and evaluation, in order to achieve coherence between what was planned, what was evaluated and what was learned. In the planning it relates the levels of competition with the contents and indicators of achievement; then they articulate with instruments, the evidences of knowing, doing, being and of product. Finally, all the components are integrated, for their execution, allowing showing the did...

This research applies complexity theory to explain the formation process of complex strategies. A systematic literature review was carried out to identify the state of the art and it was observed that the theoretical framework of the theory is dispersed. In this context, the local behavior scheme, unpredictability, self-organization, emergent order and evolution on the edge of chaos were identified as the most representative constructs of the theory. Based on these concepts, it was concluded that managers have a fundamental role in leading organizations; that strategies must promote experimentation, improvisation, trial and error; and that they must be constantly updated based on changes in the environment. Finally, a conceptual model of the complex strategy formation process is developed and a set of practical recommendations is provided.

The forensic anthropology in Perú has a recent development, because of the investigations assumed around the Armed Conflict Internal 1980-2000. One of the main issues in such tasks is the search of the missing persons and the identification of the victims exhumed, many of them remaining unidentified. The document pretends to illustrate about each one of the methods used for identification and its application, as well as its validity and its acceptance inside the legal processes, emphasising on the need of use reliable systems, to assurance a minimum of confidence to all those who are involved. The text tries to be exhaustive regarding to the systems of the facial reconstruction and the skull/photo superimposition, due to the over estimation of its effectiveness as reliable identification methods, during a considerable time. In that sense, the article tries to explain how and why it is n...

This research aims to find, explain and describe the procedures for analysis of impact indicators on the levels of employment, underemployment and unemployment, as well as significant other indicators such as the population of working age (PET) and the economically active population (PEA). Based on the construction and analysis of indicators, such as employment, unemployment and underemployment rates which in reality turn out to be frequent indicators of the laboral market. We can identify through them changes in the labor market of a country. In the development of this research, concepts are explained on the reference period and the minimum age, in order to identify the condition of activity, the active search in the case unemployment, the one hours criterion typifying the busy, and the minimum benchmark, as a limit to characterize the invisible underemployed person among other things. ...

This research was carried out with the objective of analyzing and explaining how the competence approach (CE) and formative evaluation (PE) are developed in rural schools. The qualitative approach was used under the case study design using participant observation technique. The results show that in the development of CE and PE, complex interdisciplinary activities were proposed to develop reasoning, creativity and critical thinking through planning, learning management and evaluation processes. However, some students have not achieved improvements in their learning, despite applying different strategies and previously sharing the evaluation criteria. It was concluded that for thedevelopment of CE and PE, in distance education, it is essential to manage activities in an interdisciplinary way, prioritizing some competences because, due to the communication limitations that exist, it was no...

We propose to briefly state the concepts that relate the melodrama to a way of being and to be in Latin America, how mass media -especially television- have adopted it and adapted it to constitute it in “the way” of narrating ourselves. We will provide a way to approach to fictional content in television that allows us to read the subjectivities and particular recognitions, always in tension with other fictions of diverse origins, whose productions have strong contributions of capital, talent, and expertise. This invitation, in short, is nothing more than a reflection that attempts to unravel the idea that there is “a large” global village of which we are part of undividedly, as opposed to the idea that, despite the great penetration of audiovisual productions from different latitudes, there are territorial identifications that contribute to this collective construction of Latin ...

Sturge Weber syndrome (SSW) is characterized by the classic involvement of sporadic neuro-oculo-cutaneous vascular malformations, the pathophysiology of which to date has not been fully elucidated. The discovery of both an arterial and venous molecular profile in the endothelium present in vascular malformations, together with vascular atresia zones distal to the ectatic zones, have led to questioning the embryological theories put forward for decades, to explore the molecular and genetic characteristics in the affected tissue. Currently, a high prevalence of somatic mutation in the GNAQ gene has been reported in the affected tissues of patients with SSW, which encodes an alpha subunit of a Gq protein, whose signaling cascade stimulates cell proliferation, which may be responsible of the sustained growth of malformations in the three mentioned regions. The present study aims to explain th...

The study aims to explain the relationship between the agenda of the Sierra Maestra newspaper in Santiago de Cuba and that of its readers through two WhatsApp groups created by the newspaper from June to October 2021. A quantitative research design was employed using techniques such as content analysis in the selected groups and applied survey in their members. The study determined that there is no thematic relationship between the newspaper’s agenda and that of its readers. This is influenced by the little involvement of journalists in solving the problems of the group members, the slight possibility of criticizing in that space, the insufficient feedback between the country’s social institutions and the readers, and the ineffective role of journalists as informers. This analysis is part of a series of studies on the agenda-setting in Cuban WhatsApp groups and delves into the need t...
