The article shows an example of application of the methodology of action research. We present the design and results of a study based on the mobile phone in the aspect of pricing decisions, it’s comparison of means for dependent samples, measuring the effect on incoming cellular telephone traffic due to changing pricing strategy, by cellular operator. In case, the customer behavior with traffic reduced incoming calls to cell phones manifests an initial problem that affected the company’s earnings. Among various alternatives, the mode change for the customer tariff suggests increase receiving phone calls, raising the incoming telephone traffic and revenue. After conceptualizing biomedical and psychosocial research as a social practice involving numerous actors, this article concentrates on subjects (or participants) in experiments, observations, studies and pharmacological trials, emphasizing the scarce attention which their attribvutes have received despite the implicit and explicit recognition of their importance in knowledge production. The need to specify traits and characters of the “volunteer” and their decisive influence on psychological and social studies is emphasized.

The collector has been evaluated for clear sky when installed on a vertical wall in the city of Puno, oriented towards the geographical north in the autumn season. The performance parameters allowed to obtain high efficiency and the construction is low cost. Student satisfaction through the case study method was considered a secondary dependent variable. The quasi experimental design pretest and posttest was applied with intact groups. The analysis unit consisted of an experimental group and a control group of students of the School of Education of San Marcos University (Universidad San Marcos) who are currently enrolled in the course “Methodology of Educational Research I”.

La función de corrección formulada por Richardson y Zaki en 1954, se utiliza para determinar la velocidad de sedimentación de un colectivo de partículas a partir de la velocidad de una partícula que no se encuentra sujeta a la acción de las fuerzas de otras partículas en la suspensión. Dado el tamaño de las partículas que es micrométrico y el valor del número de Reynolds del escurriento que es menor a 0,25; se emplea la solución de Stokes para evaluar la velocidad de éstas, por lo que el valor del exponente de la función de corrección de Richardson y Zaki es n = 4,65; independientemente del tamaño. El presente trabajo demuestra a partir de un trabajo experimental con micro partículas que el valor del exponente de la función de corrección de Richardson y Zaki depende de su tamaño y es mayor mientras menor es el diametro de éstas.

Healthy behaviors have traditionally been promoted through persuasive messages that provide information about figures or arguments and are designed with an openly persuasive objective. However, other strategies have recently been established, such as the use of narrative messages and mixed formats (which combine information and tell a story). The evidence is not conclusive about the efficacy of these three modalities of persuasion (informational, narrative, and mixed) nor about the mechanisms responsible. The present research was to determine the effectiveness of a program of communication strategies in oral language of students 5 years of an educational institution of Callao. The sample consisted of 48 students: of these, 24 make up the control group and the other 24 make up the experimental group to whom the program was applied communication strategies. The instrument used was the oral language test for children 5 years, adapted from ELO (Ramos and others 2008) by Cardenas and Neyra (2011). The purpose of the test was to evaluate the relevant aspects of oral language in its different dimensions: auditory discrimination, phonological, syntactic and semantic. The results revealed that there are significant differences in favor and spoken language among the students who received the program and communication strategies that did not.
