El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la disfunción temporomandibular en cirujanos dentistas del distrito de Chorrillos – 2023. La muestra representativa estuvo conformada por 162 cirujanos dentistas del distrito de Chorrillos, Lima - Perú. Se utilizó el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 27 y Excel 2016, para procesar los análisis estadísticos. Se encontró que el 48.8% de cirujanos dentistas presentaban un nivel de conocimiento de DTM suficiente y/o regular y solo un 13% presentó un nivel muy bueno. Se concluye que, el nivel de conocimiento sobre DTM es de nivel “regular” en los cirujanos dentistas del distrito de Chorrillos, demostrando así la necesidad de mejoras en el sistema educativo odontológico en el país e implementación de escuelas de especialización en DTM.

In historically heteropatriarchal societies such as Peru, the issue of sexuality is framed in a context of myths, taboos, and misinformation, which is, in part, constructed by processes of medicalization. Within this, sexual dysfunctions are conceived as disorders or pathologies that require diagnosis and treatment by specialized personnel. This research aims to explain the ways in which sexual dysfunctions, both female and male, are currently approached from the medical discourse. Determinar la fuerza asociación de la Proteína C Reactiva, Ferritina, Procalcitonina y Lactato, como predictores de disfunción multiorgánica en niños con sepsis. OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación que existe entre la calidad de sueño con el deterioro cognitivo en trabajadores administrativos de la Universidad Andina del Cusco MATERIALES Y MÉTODO: Estudio correlacional, prospectivo, transversal y observacional. Se recaudaron datos generales de los participantes. Se utilizaron dos encuestas validadas para evaluar el deterioro cognitivo (SPMSQ) y, la calidad de sueño (PQSI). Los datos fueron procesados usando el paquete estadístico SPSS para análisis univariado y bivariado. RESULTADOS: La frecuencia, de mala calidad de sueño es de 38.67% y del deterioro cognitivo es de 46.67% entre los trabajadores administrativos de la Universidad Andina del Cusco. Objetivo: Estimar la frecuencia de Deterioro Cognitivo Leve en adultos mayores con enfermedad cardiovascular que acuden por consultorio externo del servicio de geriatría en el Hospital Nacional Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo, durante el período abril – septiembre del 2011. To avoid errors in the diagnosis of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, it should be a comprehensive examination; clinical and gynecological thorough and proper examination and laboratory findings rule oriented organic processes justify the uterus and ovarian dysfunction as the cause of endometrial bleeding. The Free Radical Theory of Aging posits that reactive oxygen species (ROS), produced both endogenously and via environmental exposures, induce cumulative molecular damage to lipids, proteins, and DNA impacting cellular and tissue integrity.
