When we prepare and organize a class, we must not only think about what we say or how to say it. Class organization must transcend the concerns of the dictation. We must incorporate tasks so the students can have an active attitude in class: we must not only develop their intellectual abilities, which correspond to the passive situation of listening to the teacher. We must ensure that in the learning process the student involves other skills that stimulate their cognitive aspect: with this in mind, the teacher takes on a mediating role, giving prominence to the student. We must seek a balance between teacher, student and the tasks or activities designed. In this article, we will reflect on the advantages of having a good class design, which no longer look only at the content that is taught, but it concentrates on teaching how to learn; it no longer the course but the student is the cente...

The treatment of various skeletal malocclusions in children and young’ patients are performed applying orthopedic forces, seeking to alter growth or open sutures in certain anatomical regions. The condyle (CO) and mandibular fossa (MF) are regions that have been subjected to intense forces awaiting bone remodeling as part of the treatment. Due to the classic two-dimensional records used to assess anatomical morphological changes, many results have been controversial. With the use of tomography and modern tomographic superposition techniques, it is possible to identify these morphological changes quantitatively and qualitatively in bone structures. An integrated literature review of the morphological alterations of the CO and the MF was performed using Computed Tomography (CT) and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in patients with Class II and Class III skeletal malocclusions who use...

The main reason for me is let you known the great importance of communicating fluently in a second language. Nowadays traveler student has the necessity to master a new language because we are in globalize world. Therefore, graduates from school need to be prepared in all four skills as a listening, speaking, writing, grammar and sub-abilities like phonetic and phonology and others and words are going to come out one after another in abundance. Students will find facts and ideas as a result an excellent speech. Learning foreign languages allows us to be ahead in the future and starting from childhood knowing several ones to be prepared for tomorrow. Opinions of different authors about “Developing speaking skills in large classes” has allowed me to reinforce the elaboration of how to reach students and turn them into good speakers It is a little difficult to educate to many students b...

Strategies for communicating information have undergone many changes, which have been evidenced in the pandemic. The idea is to be able to connect with the student and that the information is received in a clear, timely and relevant manner, so that he/she will have the prior knowledge to integrate information from theory and practice, in order to successfully face the simulated activity, as well as when interacting with the patient. In this context, the inverted classroom is a didactic strategy that provides videos, podcasts, among others, to be reviewed in advance, so that when the student performs the face-to-face or virtual activity, the most important concepts are deepened and clarified, using active participation methodologies to achieve the following objective: Invested learning seeks a change in the dynamics of learning that points to the student as its axis. The objective of this...

Material and Methods: an ex vivo experimental study was carried out, in which 128 molars without morphological alterations in the coronary structure were included, in which cavities were carved in the occlusal face in a standardized way (4x4x3mm) and later randomly distributed in two groups according to the adhesive system applied (Group I, acid etching prior to the adhesive; Group II, self-etchingadhesive), each Group being subdivided into two subgroups according to the restoration method, A: composite resin; B: Flowable resin base, composite resin restoration and surface sealer. All trial bodies were sealed at the apex and on the entire external surface with two layers of nail polish up to 1 mm from the tooth-restoration interface, thermo...

Ello llevó a introducir suces...

This paper approaches masculinity through the study of the body, taking into account its aesthetics tounveil a subject not well documented and to explore the experience and representation of masculinity in a socioeconomic sector that is not well known. The research on masculinities in Latin America and the world, point out three essential components: the persistent demonstration of masculinity; the distinction between feminine and homosexual; and the control of emotions. This research shows that, in the social sector explored, the concept of masculinity widens and the three components that were pointed out before, are reduced in intensity; meanwhile we foresee the importance of the body as an individuation factor and as an esthetic innovation. Through the practice of ethnography in two independent design stores in Lima, we observe that the appearance is produced when the personal...

This case report describes the diagnosis and treatment of a male patient 15 years old, who was treated at the National Institute of Child Health, with a malocclusion Class II Division 1 characterized by a deep bite, a class II skeletal relationship by mandibular retrusion, and maxillary protrusion, convex profile and lip protrusion. The objective was to improve the facial profile, the aesthetics of the smile and to achieve stable occlusal relationships. Treatment involved the extraction of first premolars and miniscrews anchorage for space closure and deep bite correction (retraction and intrusion of upper incisors). The duration of treatment was 30 months. Orthodontic compensatory treatment was emphasized as an alternative to the ideal ortho –surgical treatment .Acceptable results were achieved in the reduction of overjet and the improvement of facial profile.
