Introduction: The criminalization of abortion in Peru poses ethical and legal dilemmas for healthcare professionals. Objective: To evaluate the factors associated with the reporting of induced abortions and to explore the perceptions of obstetrician-gynecologists. Methods: A sequential mixed-methods study was conducted, with a quantitative phase followed by a qualitative one. One hundred obstetrician-gynecologists participated via a structured questionnaire, and ten were interviewed in depth. Variables included type of healthcare facility, perceptions of the General Health Law (GHL), prior experience, and attitudes toward reporting. Objective. To establish the association between insulin resistance and thyroid nodules in euthyroid women from Metropolitan Lima. Methods. Study in euthyroid women, 20 to 70 years of age: 32 cases (with thyroid nodules) and 32 controls (without thyroid nodules), by ultrasound of the thyroid, negative anti-thyroid antibodies, and adequate urinary iodine excretion (EUI), matched by age and BMI, treated in the Almenara-EsSalud care network. Using a clinical record, age and anthropometric parameters were recorded. Was measured: glucose, basal insulin (IB), and insulin resistance (IR) using the homeostatic model (HOMAIR≥2.97). This essay aims to present the elements and dynamics of games that are used by the digital magazine It is more and more common for media outlets to draw upon elements that are traditionally found in games so as to enhance the interactivity of their product, encourage the intake of their informational content, highlight their advertisements or attract a younger audience. The results demonstrate the presence of these gaming elements in all of the platforms in which the magazine is offered with a reduced number of games per issue and all of the games being related to the informational content.

The aim of this article was to investigate the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction in the educational services provided by INTERPASS S.A.C. in Lima in 2021. The study used a survey technique and a questionnaire as data collection tool, with a sample of 325 students selected through random sampling. To test the hypothesis, the study employed Chi-square statistics and Spearman's correlation test. The results showed a statistically significant association between service quality and customer satisfaction. The statistical analysis confirmed the study’s main hypothesis that there is a positive impact of service quality on customer satisfaction in the company studied. This was evidenced by a high Chi-square value of 374.952 and a strong Spearman correlation of 0.806, indicating a significant relationship between the two variables.

Prognosis for patients with squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in oral cavity with bone invasion presence is concerning. Bone invasion patterns can be used to indicate aggressiveness and can be correlated with tumor clinical behavior. Objective: To evaluate bone invasion histopathological patterns in patients with oral cavity SCC and correlate them with the survival rate. Materials and methods: 62 patients with presence of SCC in the oral cavity as well as bone invasion were recruited for this study. Epidemiological and histopathological characteristics were tabulated and analyzed. Fischer's Square and Exact Tests were used to verify any statistical associations between the data. Objective: To describe the conditions and characteristics of the tracheostomy procedure in a tertiary health care unit and analyze its association with the recorded outcome. Materials and methods: A retrospective, observational and descriptive study that included patients operated in the Otorhinolaryngology Unit of the Northwest National Medical Center, Sonora, from August 2014 to August 2015. Fifty-two (52) complete clinical records of consecutive series of cases were reviewed, out of which 57% were men with an average age of 56.2 years old. To this end, it develops an innovative model with the objective of increasing the productivity of asparagus packing, one of the main problems of the Peruvian agricultural industry. Through the application of an autonomous and preventive maintenance strategy, it seeks to eliminate untimely stops in the asparagus processing line.
