El 19 de diciembre de 2018, se promulgó la Ley 3088 que, entre otras disposiciones, prohíbe el uso de las bolsas de plástico en los supermercados. En esta coyuntura, la empresa ECOBOLSAS está planeando lanzar una bolsa de fibra natural que sustituya a las bolsas plásticas que se usan en estos establecimientos. Producto del estudio de viabilidad comercial realizado, se estableció que los potenciales consumidores serían los hogares que residen en la zona 6 y 7 de la ciudad de Lima Metropolitana y que pertenecen al nivel socio económico (NSE) A y B (Mercado potencial). También se obtuvo datos sobre la disposición de compra, habiéndose establecido que terminarían comprando, solo un 80% de aquellos hogares encuestados que respondieron “definitivamente sí”, que constituyen el mercado objetivo, y que todo el resto no lo haría.

Background: Case reports and case series are essential sources of knowledge; however, they only provide low-quality scientific evidence. These studies are common in the medical field because they allow to formulate new hypotheses and to report new and rare pathologies in a structured way and complications or adverse drug events. Hence, the primary objective of a case report or case series is contributing to the scientific knowledge. To publishing these studies, it is recommended to follow the CARE statement's recommendations to guarantee a structured report with a minimum of pertinent and relevant information to make a clear and precise interpretation of the findings. This review aims to provide a scientific writing guide for case reports and case series and maximize their publicity in indexed peer-reviewed journals.

Los estudios de casos y controles son estudios epidemiológicos observacionales analíticos utilizados generalmente para evaluar factores asociados a condiciones de presentación infrecuente. Su jerarquía dentro de la pirámide de evidencia se ubica en un lugar intermedio, generalmente con un nivel de evidencia considerado mayor que los estudios transversales analíticos y menor que los estudios de cohorte. La medida de asociación utilizada para estos estudios es el Odds Ratio (o razón de momios). Algunas variantes de este diseño como los estudios de casos y controles incidentes y los anidados (dentro de una cohorte) permiten disminuir el riesgo de sesgo de selección. Se revisan los conceptos básicos relacionados a este tipo de estudios.

Reporte de caso es un tipo de publicación biomédica que en los últimos años ha ido en incremento. Muestra la experiencia clínica de un caso inusual o de evolución no esperada, presentando información descriptiva, útil como una experiencia educativa para médicos en general y a la comunidad científica. A Kuélap, se le suele llamar ‘el Machu Picchu del norte’, por su similar tamaño e importancia. Los expertos anotan que apunta a convertirse en el segundo destino más visitado del Perú. Case-control studies are analytical observational epidemiological studies generally devoted to evaluate factors associated with infrequent diseases. Its hierarchy within the pyramid of evidence lies in an intermediate place between cross sectional and cohort studies. The measure of association used for these studies is the Odds Ratio. Some variants of this design, such as incident and nested case studies and nested case-control studies (within a cohort) can reduce the risk of selection bias. The basic concepts related to this type of studies are reviewed.

Introduction: Case reports are a type of biomedical publication that allow us to share experiences regarding the etiology, diagnosis, therapeutics, and prognosis of anecdotal events that occur both in one and in several patients during clinical practice. Objective: to elaborate methodological recommendations for the elaboration of the discussion of a clinical case report. Methods: A narrative review of international guidelines and available evidence was carried out. Results: A total of 411,227 articles were located, finally selecting 10 narrative review articles. This is a case reporta case of Pemphigus Foliaceus in a 34 year-old male referred to the Arzobispo Loayza Hospital, which was evaluated and subjected to different examinations for diagnosis and treatment. Pemphigus Foliaceus is included in the blistering diseases, which is considered a chronic and relatively benign variety of pemphigus, where the patient's general condition is affected very little. It is considered as an autoimmune disease of unknown etiology that is characterized by deposition of auto-antibodies: Immunoglobulins and complement to the intercellular junctions. As any heafth professional, the dentist must have knowledge of the clinical and general mouth to help in the differential diagnosis of the disease.
