In this article it's saying that treatment of youth violence in our context is, generally, of diagnosis kind, except some applications in minor scale. But now we have a behavioural technology developed for this in other countries, with exitous proofs adapted and maked to our reality. The functional analysis implicated in this technology is embracing they antecedent, present and consequent dimensions of aggressive episode, for identification of risk factors and postulating the corrective actions. I suggest that behavioural programs are systematic interventions and they have solid empirical dales. They are powerful alternatives for integrating commentary strategies in conjunction with experts.

The Achenbach Inventory of Behavioral Problems (test/retest reliability = 92) was administered to 908 adolescents in Lima, aged from 11 to 18 years, 621 coming from the control group (normal) and 287 from the experimental group (clinical group with divorced parents). Results showed that the experimental group exhibited significantly higher scores (T ? 70) than the control group (T < 60), the former reaching pathology level indicators. Moreover, a non-significant tendency to obtain higher T scores is more observed in females than in males. From the study results we can state that the Achenbach Inventory is a valid instrument for a screening process of children exhibiting behavioral problems that require psychological or psychiactric intervention in Peru.

A model of family influences on the development of antisocial behavior and scholar problems in adolescents is presented. Two-hundred four students of junior and high school were assessed. Data were analyzed through a structural equation model. Results showed that child abuse, a no cooperative family and mothers' alcohol consumption had a direct effect on antisocial behavior, which in turn promoted delinquen behavior and negatively affected school grades of students. Delinquency and mothers' alcohol consumption had an influence on students' school problems, which could be partially overturned by their social abilities. Results suggest the necessity of counselling for families in arder to prevent school problems and bad grades in adolescents.

Behavioral problems in the classroom have a negative impact on the emotional well-being of students, as well as on the learning process and classroom climate. This study aimed to describe the behavioral problems observed in the classroom, according to teachers' reports. A questionnaire created for this study was answered by 55 teachers, (female = 70,9% and men = 29,1%), among five schools of Chillán, Chile. Teachers indicated that among the behavioral problems, non-compliance behavior is observed with frequency (43,6%). This study is a starting point for future investigation on this topic, that addresses regional and national phenomena.

This research seeks to analyze the variables involved in prosocial behavior and his ability to act as a protective factor against gambling addiction. This study is quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational. The sample was made up of 258 adults residing in the province of Valencia (59.5% women) with a mean age of 20.95 years (SD = 2.19). Questionnaires were applied to measure the variables involved (Brief Resilient Coping Scale, cuestionario de apoyo social, Escala de Prosocialidad y South Oaks Gambling Screen) and a structural equation model was performed. The results showed good fit indices (X2 (41) = 59.31, p = .06; CFI = .97; GFI = .96; RMSEA = .04) and indicated that social support and resilience were not related, being both predictors of prosocial behaviors. Furthermore, prosocial behaviors were predictors of gambling addiction. This research presents an explanato...

At present, the problem of sustaining the law-abiding behavior of minors in educational institutions, identifying and eliminating the causes and conditions that contribute to the development of deviant behavior of students is becoming more and more topical. This paper presents the results of a monitoring study of the current state of the activities carried out by educational institutions to form the law-abiding behavior of minors in the territorial entities of the Russian Federation. It also presents the results of a theoretical study of the foreign experience of educational institutions in the framework of maintaining the law-abiding behavior of minors in the educational environment. The conclusions have been drawn that a system-activity approach should be the basis of an educational impact in educational institutions which will provide: the formation of students’ readiness for self-d...

The aim of this article is to establish the first findings, at Metropolitan Lima level, about the problem of stress and risky eating behaviors and personality in the non-obese university population. One of the most critical stages to reinforce these new habits is during childhood; however, due to the changes that are taking place at contextual and technological level, the university stage is also considered as a critical stage for the human being. Issues such as stress are somehow soothed by certain personality features and by habits acquired during childhood. However, it is important to be able to set up a study to identify more factors that intervene in this problem and, in turn, find prevention methods in order to foster healthy eating behaviors in the students.

Objective: Adaptation to Peruvian population of the Pediatric Symptoms Checklist (PSC-17), a questionnaire that assists in the identification of emotional and behavioral problems in children and adolescents between 6 to 17 years. Method: On the basis of the original texts of PSC-17 in English and Spanish and the Chilean version, a committee of five experts proceeded to the adaptation of the 17 items for parents and caregivers and for adolescents. Results: Some items were kept identical to one of the two revised Spanish versions; others remained similar to the Chilean version, and some had to be slightly modified to match Peruvian Spanish. Conclusions: The final Peruvian version of the PSC-17 would facilitate the detection of mental health problems in children and adolescents in our country, even though it is still necessary to subsequently carry out pertinent studies of its psychometric ...

This article deals with the asymptotic behavior of nonoscillatory solutions of fourth order linear differential equation where the coefficients are perturbations of linear constant coefficient equation. We define a change of variable and deduce that the new variable satisfies a third order nonlinear differential equation. We assume three hypotheses. The first hypothesis is related to the constant coefficients and set up that the characteristic polynomial associated with the fourth order linear equation has simple and real roots. The other two hypotheses are related to the behavior of theperturbation functions and establish asymptotic integral smallness conditions of the perturbations. Under these general hypotheses, we obtain four main results. The first two results are related to the application of a fixed point argument to prove that the nonlinear third order equation has a unique solu...

In this work we consider the one-dimensional dynamic model Mindlin- Timoshenko Beam. We will study the existence of soluciones for a contact problem associated with the Mindlin-Timoshenko system. Also analyze how energy decays exponentially to zero as time goes to infinity. The proposed system is as follows…

In Bolivia and Ecuador, there is a concept and interpretation of the teaching-learning process of a bivariate causal type of net behavioral nature  (PEAc). The problem arises when, based on this interpretation, institutional policies and regulations are developed that affect education, society and even the country. Said PEAc represses creativity, motivation and even violates human rights. In teachers and students, it represses the possibility of learning to think and developing fundamental metacognitive skills. The objective of this essay and review is to analyze the problem from the behavioral roots that gave rise to the questioned concept to demonstrate, from the logical, biological, psychopedagogical and epistemological point of view that the assumptions raised around said concept are fallacies, false enthymemes, cognitive biases and/or neuromyths that harm the normal performance of ...

This paper presents the calibration study of a two - dimensional mathematical model for the problem of urban air pollution. It is mainly assumed that air pollution is aected by wind convection, difusion and chemical reactions of pollutants. Consequently, a convection-diusion-reaction equation is obtained as a direct problem. In the inverse problem, the determination of the diusion is analyzed, assuming that one has an observation of the pollutants in a nite time. To solve it numerically the nite volume method is used, the least squares function is considered as cost function and the gradient is calculated with the sensitivity method.

Virus mitigation behavior has been and still is a powerful means to fight the COVID-19 pandemic irrespective of the availability of pharmaceutical means (e.g., vaccines). We drew on health behavior theories to predict health-protective (coping-specific) responses and hope (coping non-specific response) from health-related cognitions (vulnerability, severity, self-assessed knowledge, efficacy). In an extension of this model, we proposed orientation to internal (problem-focused coping) and external (country capability) coping resources as antecedents of health protection and hope; health-related cognitions were assumed as mediators of this link. We tested these predictions in a large multi-national multi-wave study with a cross-sectional panel at T1 (Baseline, March-April 2020; N = 57,631 in 113 countries) and a panel subsample at two later time points, T2 (November 2020; N = 3097) and T3 ...
