The article comments the content of the chapter to eradicate statelessness of the Brazil Plan of Action, and its actions aimed at the prevention of statelessness, the protection of stateless persons, and the resolution of existing cases. It also explains the linkages of such actions with those contained in UNHCR Global Action Plan to End Statelessness. Finally, the article presents the current stage and some major developments in the region with regard to accession to the statelessness conventions, the adequacy of national legislation to international standards, the adoption of legal frameworks on the protection of stateless persons, the establishment of statelessness determination procedures, and the search of solutions to the problem of statelessness.

I understand, as Kafka does, that the situation of the bureaucracy of the early twentieth century in Europe in 'The trial’, that corruption has as one of its roots the lack of a sense of community. In this article I propose to overcome the rational choice approach. That way I can combine it with one (that) can understand corruption as collective action. That is why I reflect on the next four key questions to understand this approach: A) what is a collective action problem? this detaches that high levels of trust are significantly related with lower levels of corruption. B) When can we talk about societies where corruption is more the norm than an exception? this deduces that confidence is at stake, specially, in institutions. And c) in which degree the environment determines human behavior in relation with social psychology? Thus, this new paradigm addresses institutions of public admi...

Experimental studies have polycythemias dual purpose; First, they can provide useful information for interpreting the other polycythemias mechanism occurring in man; also to better clarify constribuyen erythropoietic function. In our country, flushing height is a problem that deeply interested; production mechanism and implications physiologism have been studied by Professors Monge, Hurtado et al. In our stay in the United States, when we worked in the laboratories of Eleazar Barron, one of the topics we chose as research was polycythaemia caused by cobalt. At the same time we studied the oxidation of ascorbic acid and was discussed on the role of this vitamin in the mechanism of erythropoiesis reason that prompted us to investigate the action that ascorbic acid might exert on the development of polycythemia by cobalt and the study of the intimate mechanism of this polycythemia.

The purpose of this essay is to reflect on the application of the principle of the Best Interest of the Child when there are conflicts of interest or discrepancies of rights: a child’s right to identity v. the child’s right to legal paternity. The scientific and technological advances related to DNA genetic testing to prove paternal filiation and maternal filiation have put the issue of paternity of children conceived with a married woman and their recognition by a third party on the agenda, along with the provisions set forth under articles 396 and 404 of the Civil Code which preclude the possibility of challenging and/or declaring the paternity of a supposedly extramarital  child born within a marital relationship; and, on the other hand, the child’s right to identity according to the Principle of the Best Interest of the Child, in which the&nbs...

This article reconstructs the notion of action that, anchored in a wider account of imputation practices, Hegel develops in the “Morality” chapter of his Philosophy of Right, beginning with a preliminary clarification of what it means that “crime” designates something that has the status of an action. Considering a set of premises found in some recent analytically oriented interpretations of Hegel’s work developed by Robert Brandom and Michael Quante, I examine the distinction proposed by Hegel between the concepts of deed and action, to then clarify the meaning of the “·right of knowledge” and its relationship to the “right of intention”. This enables one to make explicit the particular form of “compatiblism” that can be extracted from Hegel’s philosophy as a way to face the problem of moral luck.

The article shows an example of application of the methodology of action research. We present the design and results of a study based on the mobile phone in the aspect of pricing decisions, it’s comparison of means for dependent samples, measuring the effect on incoming cellular telephone traffic due to changing pricing strategy, by cellular operator. In case, the customer behavior with traffic reduced incoming calls to cell phones manifests an initial problem that affected the company’s earnings. Among various alternatives, the mode change for the customer tariff suggests increase receiving phone calls, raising the incoming telephone traffic and revenue. To corroborate this hypothesis we defined a random sample of 25 clients who applied a new tariff model, on a restricted basis for a month, tracking the results through the computer system. This type of experiment is called the mean ...

The article analyzes the Franciscan Order of Chile in the independence period, focusing on two units: the Province of the Holy Trinity and the Chillan Mission College. First, we offer a look from historiography and then give way to the voices and actions of some religious in the independence process. The Order had to collaborate with the civil authorities in a climate of war, with either economic donations or facilitating their dependencies to the army. However, another thing is to observe its position in the face of events and the way they channeled it. For this, we have consulted historical documents of the period, emanated from the friars themselves, such as patent letters, letters, circulars, and press writings. Through critical reading and triangulation, we have been able to reach conclusions. In this sense, we can affirm that the voices ...

The systematic analysis of the business political action is still a debt for much of the social sciences. To this extent, most studies focused on business behavior have tried to explain how businessmen behave rather than why they do what they do. The why has been usually theoretically deduced from a set of axioms that determine what can be expected from business’ action. This paper proposes a shift on the focus and suggests the need for a more critical empirical research on the mechanisms and processes that help to explain why business act in certain ways under certain circumstances. With this aim, the paper visits a set of theories that taken together build a frame for discussing the business political action as a research problem. Based on that revision, the paper also suggests that in order to comprehend the businesses political behavior no single theory is enough, but a ...

The present research is a quantitative approach with a descriptive design and was carried out with the students of the Initial Education specialty of the Faculty of Education of UNMSM, in the situational diagnosis motivated to provide possible solutions to the problem, the students observed that there are distractors that interfered in learning for different reasons, they develop the action plan with the objective of resolving conflicts in the classroom in a specific period, at the end of it they presented a report with the results obtained, which is an academic experience where They strengthened teaching skills for the future exercise of their profession. School coexistence presents various scenarios. Conflicts in the classroom occur for any reason or circumstance, which requires attention because they are a distraction and can cause negative emotional states in children under 5 years o...

Population growth generates a higher demand for food and, thereby the waste of larger quantities of food. The fight against this problem has been initiated in several countries through strict regulations that manage food waste: Peru has made proposals related to the use of food waste, however, they were ineffective when it became evident that there was a lot of waste The objective of this article is to analyze the management of food waste in Peru and the world, both in terms of regulations and situation; for this purpose, a bibliographic review was carried out taking into account the guidelines of circularity in food. The results obtained show deficiencies in the Peruvian and world regulatory framework, with the exception of Europe. It was found that the generation of food waste is abundant worldwide, especially in the hotel, restaurant and cafeteria sector, with portion size being the m...

This paper considers the proposal, development and numerical simulation of a system that models the behavior of the treatment of HIV-1 using antiretrovirals. The system defined for three dependent variables of the variable t, denoted by X(t)=(x1 (t), x2 (t), x3 (t)) represent the amount of T Lymphocytes "Helpers" (CD4), number of Cytotoxic T Lymphocytes (CD8) Viral load and infection process of HIV-1 at any time t, respectively. The assembly consists of a Nonlinear Ordinary Differential Equations system whose existential domain represents time system evaluation process of infection and viral clearance in a patient with HIV-1. This set of states of Nonlinear Dynamic System, associated with the initial value condition is called Cauchy problem. There are few studies related to the solution of this system, found some of the study are reduced to two variables and others without obtaining the ...

It is necessary to find out a solution for the Peruvian education problems, but particularly, we have to help the person who is learning, the real human been who thinks and feels, poking inside of him or her to compromise them in the search of solutions to the problems and their background. The individual is more important than the statistics. The education, as a social interaction process, has to improve children and teenagers capacities in solving conflicts that are present in a diverse and changing reality. In this article there is a definition of qualitative investigation, which is really important especially for education; there is also a brief contrast of the quantitative investigation, known as hypothetical deductive, and we propose a model for qualitative investigation: “Technologies impact in knowledge and communication focused in the thoughts and feelings of young people”, ...

The aim of this article is to identify learning situations used in collaborative action research (CAR) in a rural school and a state university, based on the analysis of the strengths andchallenges of experience. From a methodological point of view, this is a case study of action research. The experience is analytically assessed by recognizing the strengths ―reciprocal recognition, appreciation of the other institutional body as a project partner with shared goals, and commitment of the inter-institutional educational actors to the students― and the challenges ―management of each institution’s internal contingencies for inter-institutional coordination, and institutional differences to distinguish intervention problems and goals. Based on the experience, the following learning situations are recognized: clarifying the goals of collaboration with reality criteria over the fair des...

The demand for natural resources and energy continues to growin the developed world and, with it, the negative impacts on the environment and the rights of the peoples directly affected by extractive activities undertaken by the largest transnational corporations. Three factors compel victims of serious environmental damage to resort simultaneously to any available avenue of legal action (whether judicial or non-judicial, national or international): (1) the link between environmental damage and human rights abuses; (2) weak legislation, combined with the inability or unwillingness of the law-enforcing institutions in many countries where such extractive activities take place; and (3) the absence of international avenues to claim direct liability from corporations. We call this phenomenon intertwined actions, as the various judicial actions undertaken by the victims end up mutually reinf...
