To apply a Quality Management System (QMS) in small business, is a worth experience and also it is an example for others in Peru. This is the reason why we describe this experience that is due to a work done to implement the QMS ISO 9001:2008 with an emphasis on production, in a small company of industrial garment, being this, the first in the country to certify in that field. The article points out the requirements and the proper procedure to be followed by a small industrial clothing company to achieve a successful implementation in their organizations and obtain the certification.

El presente trabajo presenta el estudio experimental sobre el secado por atomización con el objetivo de que tal operación reemplace las tres últimas etapas del proceso de fabricación de la bentonita activada como son: filtro rotatorio continuo al vacío, secador de horno rotatorio y el molino Raymond. Se ha logrado demostrar experimentalmente que con el secado por atomización se logra un producto que tiene un 10% de humedad y que el 100% del producto pasa la malla 200 Tyler, superando ampliamente las especificaciones comerciales de la bentonita activada.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo determinar el impacto de la implementación de la metodología TPM en la productividad de una compañía manufacturera de envases de vidrio, la cual tiene diferentes procesos dentro de su cadena de producción, y es en uno de estos, específicamente en el proceso de formación de los envases donde las máquinas formadoras presentan intempestivamente paradas y averías, los cuales representan un efecto negativo para la compañía. Introduction. Overcrowding in emergency department of tertiary hospitals collapses its processes and prolongs waiting times. Objective. To evaluate waiting times for patients with urgent medical problems, in an emergency department after implementing a program of process improvement with facilitators. Methods. An observational study. Patients older than 14 years-old with priority III problems, who were attended between 6-23 hours, were included in the study. The team of facilitators was made up of trained administrative technicians (two each 8-hour period per day), who accelerated the diagnostic and therapeutic processes in outpatient. Children's clowning promotes learning because it captures children's attention, encouraging their participation. Therefore, the objective of this study was to implement a guide to recreational activities based on clowning in the teaching-learning process in children of Initial Education II of the “Explora Kids” School of the Pujilí Canton - Ecuador. We worked with a qualitative approach of a descriptive type and prospective level, the key informants were 15 students and two teachers from the aforementioned context.
