The discussion section is responsible for interpreting and analyzing the results of a study, as well as presenting the practical/clinical implications of the findings, the limitations of the study and recommendations for future studies aimed to improve the original research. As the different segments of a scientific article, the discussion, conclusions and references follow standardized rules of scientific writing and publication that should be known by the authors. These rules will give the author the opportunity to facilitate and expedite the process of preparation and publishing. In the other hand, the reader will be able to understand, in a simple way, the data found in the study. This scientific note summarizes the main recommendations and guidelines for properly writing the discussion, conclusions and references of a scientific article.

Denoising diffusion probabilistic models (DDPMs) have demonstrated significant potential in addressing complex image processing challenges. This paper explores the application of DDPMs in three different areas: reconstruction of remote sensing imagery affected by cloud cover, reconstruction of facial images with occluded areas, and segmentation of bodies of water from remote sensing imagery. Inpainting involves filling in missing regions in images, while DDPMs act as data generators capable of synthesizing information that alings coherently with the context of the original data. Inspired by the inpainting technique, the RePaint approach was adapted and applied to reconstruction tasks. Purpose. The purpose of this article is to propose a detailed methodology to estimate, model and incorporate the non-constant volatility onto a numerical tree scheme, to evaluate a real option, using a quadrinomial multiplicative recombination. Design/methodology/approach. This article uses the multiplicative quadrinomial tree numerical method with non-constant volatility, based on stochastic differential equations of the GARCH-diffusion type to value real options when the volatility is stochastic. Findings. Findings showed that in the proposed method with volatility tends to zero, the multiplicative binomial traditional method is a particular case, and results are comparable between these methodologies, as well as to the exact solution offered by the Black–Scholes model. In this paper, the author focuses on treatment that genocide receives from the field of sociology, then he checks the differences of sociological studies with legal regulation contained in Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide, specifically to groups that are subject to protection in legal definition of genocide.To achieve his purpose, the author develops how the process of production of the Convention was as well the criticism of legal definition of genocide in sociology. The author concludes sociological definitions have limitations, gives primacy to legal concept of genocide and affirms that social groups not protected by the Convention find protection by other rules of International Criminal Law.

The hyaluronidase from Bothrops atrox venom was purified and characterized. The effect of monovalent and divalent ions on their catalytic activity was studied, showing that the magnesium ion (150 mM) increases de activity in 40%, while glycine inhibits it by 44 %. The enzyme lacks toxic activity, when administered in albino mice in toxicity tests, but increases the hemorrhagic action of the total venom on the skin of these animals. The polyvalent botropic antivenom, was able to recognize components of the total venom of B. atrox, as well as the purified enzyme, in immunodiffusion assays. The cDNA coding for hyaluronidase from the venom of B. atrox was obtained from mRNA extracted of the fresh venom, and sequenced. This article presents the virtues and results of the order for payment process applied in other latitudes to show that it is a process that, far from the discussion of its legal nature, manages to resolve conflicts submitted to this in a reasonable time. Then, the minor labor processes that are processed under Law No. 29497 are analyzed. It is concluded that these processes can be adapted or submitted to the order for payment process, which would allow their processing and resolution to be carried out within a reasonable time, thus achieving the speed proclaimed by the new labor procedural law.

This article delves into the processes of school autonomy that emerged at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, from the lenses given by the analysis of the policy cycle of the federal government intervention to secure the continuity in distance education. Through a documentary review of academic literature and official documents, as well as interviews and focus groups with figures of basic and upper secondary education, it is concluded that, historically, school autonomy has been a diffuse political project in Mexico and that it was not a present axis in the government’s response to the emergency. However, some school communities have demanded recognition of their autonomy to decide and act collectively.

With the introduction of orality in judicial processes, the great challenge lies in obtaining true justice as a quality public service. What simple processes are solved in a differentiated way is not a problem, but a solution. Health care is an institutionalized activity under the control of the State. Current public policy offers benefits limited to scientific progress and the use of technology for its potential to solve highly complex problems. However, in public hospitals, the distance between the discourse and the concretion of care is observed, whose epitome is human praxis. This work is the result of a research project of the Master’s and Doctoral Program in Medical, Dental and Health Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Uses the ethnographic method in the clinical context. Findings open the discussion on the scope and implications of how technology is used in the clinical context. Currently, the use of technology is a topic of research in the Department of History and Philosophy of Medicine of the UNAM, coordinated by Professor Alfredo Paulo Maya.
