Objective. The objective of the current study was to evaluate critical nutrients of industrialized foods and compare them with the technical parameters established in the Peruvian regulations, in its two stages of implementation, referring to front-of-package labeling before the beginning of its validity in June 2019. Methods. Cross-sectional study in which the critical nutrients of sodium, total sugar, saturated fat and transfat were analyzed from data declared in the nutritional labels of 511 processed and ultra-processed foods that were part of the products purchased for the consumption of 88 families of students from one private university in Lima. This paper presents a methodology for designing a strategy proportional integral controller (PI) given that the policy will be implemented in an industrial process controller. The design considers the modeling of the plant through analog techniques of system identifi cation. It is used in controller design algorithm discrete digital PI controller that is running the process controller used. Considered for the design specifi cations of closed loop time response primarily to obtain a settling time line that you can be met without exceeding the range of the control signal that can deliver the process controller used. Implement the control system to verify the behavior of the closed loop system in relation to the specifi ed control objective.

The research has shown that, in Peru, public institutions have a deficient service in document management, as a result, it generates loss of time, accumulation and low security of documents, which affects citizens. Therefore, this paper proposes to implement RPA technology through a web system, which has been developed, as objective of automating the workflow and avoiding performing repetitive tasks. This technological solution will generate great improvements for public institutions such as the reduction of the attention time for a procedure in order to prevent the dissatisfaction of citizens. Moreover, its objective is to mitigate the technical gap that leads to monetary losses for the company in question. In terms of methodology, the research used a case study design focused on pre-test and post-test analyses to identify the key improvements. The results revealed a 35 % reduction in company losses and an increase of 19 % in the service level.

Este trabajo de investigación busca implementar un modelo de gestión de Lean Manufacturing, usando herramientas como VSM, SMED, Mantenimiento Autónomo, para mejorar el nivel de servicio en empresas de refinación de petróleo para reducir la brecha técnica de pérdidas monetarias a la empresa en cuestión. En cuanto a la metodología utilizada, se basa en un diseño de estudio de caso centrado en el estudio del pre-test y post-test para identificar las principales mejoras de este. Con respecto a los resultados, este estudio logró una reducción del 35% en las pérdidas de la empresa e incrementar 19 puntos porcentuales el nivel de servicio.

The Peruvian AEC industry has started implementing VDC and BIM in public projects due to recent regulations that state the progressive adoption of BIM (as a methodology) in public construction. Regardless of the benefits of these new approaches, some challenges to VDC implementation have emerged as a response to the resistance to change of the Peruvian AEC industry, which is stronger in the Peruvian public sector. The aim of this paper is to present the challenges found in the author´s VDC implementation experience in a public project, as part of the third VDC Certificate Program in Lima lead by CIFE from Stanford University. Mexico’s public hospitals are experiencing major operational problems, such as process and service failure, as well as the lack of supplies and medical equipment. Some hospitals have started kaizen philosophy-based efforts to improve this situation. The main objective of the research is to explore the implementation of the kaizen philosophy in the above-mentioned hospitals. The research used a qualitative methodology and the case study strategy. The results show that it is feasible to optimize the Covid-19 emergency and treatment process by applying kaizen philosophy, process innovation and jidoka techniques.

At present diverse illnesses exist between soft, mortal and silent, in which some studies of the biomedical try to minimize and/or help to fight these illnesses. Due to this, in this paper presents a processing and comparison system of brainwaves, the patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, they are not able to move and/or use any of their body extremities so could communicate their basics needs by the brainwaves produced by their brains, taking apart the communication by the flickers, showing a more reliable and exact alternative. The following work consists of the design of a Wireless System able to show the brainwaves produced by the patient with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and also process and compare to get the meaning of each of them identifying the basics needs; moreover, it will benefit the family because it's going to exist a nonverbal communication with the patient.

The collapse of the judicial system in Spain has led to an incessant search for procedural instruments that favor the resolution capacity of judges and magistrates. To this end, the Draft Law on Procedural Efficiency Measures of the Public Justice Service contemplates, among other aspects, the implementation in the social jurisdiction of the socalled witness lawsuit. This is a figure designed to expedite proceedings that are objectively identical, so that only one of them is processed. The rest of the proceedings are suspended until the resolution of the lawsuit that has served as a witness or guide. This paper analyzes the legal configuration of this mechanism, which is related to essential aspects of the labor process and the right to effective judicial protection.

Currently, having a sonar of echolocation in an electronic lab is complicated due to the high cost of its implementation, which is why it is proposed that the implementation of a basic sonar, using agile technologies such as the Arduino, will be used to implement this paper. Also it has a servomotor and an ultrasonic sensor, which is responsible for detecting the distance where the objects are located. The Arduino will be in charge of controlling the servomotor movements which have to be between 15 and 165 degrees. The main objective of this explanatory research with a quantitative approach is to support the implementation and development of a “customer-centric” management system based on artificial intelligence (machine learning) as a recovery measure against the current context resulting from the global pandemic. In addition, through the approach of the necessary technological tools and the understanding of the target population, the aim is to redesign and automate the service process of the restaurants to achieve an effective optimization of time.
