It is argued that the standard procedures to solve problems in physics particularly in the field of electrodynamics have in a tacit manner the actions of Machine Learning, such as the criteria of Tom Mitchell, (i) task, (ii) performance, and (iii) experience. In this way, it is presented the case of electric interaction of two charged objects inside a finite cylindric. It is found that Machine Learning concepts is matching well to the requirements to limit the usage of space and energy. Beyond of using such principles as a methodology to solve problems, the concepts of Machine Learning can be projected in the theory of physics to improve and calibrate the mathematical structure of physics equations without touching their fundamental roles.

Purpose. The study's main objective is to analyze publications on transmedia and narrative in the Scopus database, identifying the evolution of terms by year, to propose a classification according to the broad themes found. Methodology. We applied an unsupervised machine learning algorithm, called topic modeling, to identify the main themes addressed. Then, we apply open and axial coding from grounded theory to identify important concepts, aggregate them, and propose higher-order themes that can be used to classify the knowledge generated on transmedia and narrative. This article explains basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) linked to forest biomass estimation, and reviews three research studies carried out in tropical areas using AI models with traditional allometric equations. The results show that AI-based methods have greater accuracy and ability to relate key variables in forest biomass development than allometric equations. These facts highlight the need for Peruvian forest engineers to develop capabilities for the use of AI in the estimation of forest biomass in the country. In this work, we consider the time-harmonic Maxwell’s equations and their numerical solution with a domain decomposition method. As an innovative feature, we propose a feedforward neural network-enhanced approximation of the interface conditions between the subdomains. The advantage is that the interface condition can be updated without recomputing the Maxwell system at each step. The main part consists of a detailed description of the construction of the neural network for domain decomposition and the training process. The main conclusions include the importance of adequately defining the problem to be solved, the correct use of the big data infrastructure, the relevance of the exploratory analysis of the dataset and its pre-processing, as well as the use of the TDSP methodology (Team Data Science Process), oriented to big data projects.

The design and optimization of space, as well as visual merchandising, are techniques that impact the sale new concepts such as omnicanality and buying experience are fed by data analytics in order to describe the commercial mode; and new qualitative sources of information, among them color theory, specially help to understand and predict the impact of future decisions on the point of sale. This paper describes the utility of image processing techniques to innovate the retail market in the effort to extract useful information from advertising pieces frequently used in this sector.

Artificial Intelligence and machine learning systems are revolutionizing not only the way we live and interact but also the way we apply this type of technology in war conflicts. While it is true that in many cases the idea of Artificial Intelligence can be presented as a very remote concept, machine learning systems, even at their current levels of development, can present a more real threat than all this developed and potential technology. This article seeks to socialize the information related to the current potential of machine learning systems and analyze to what extent these advances are aligned with the norms of International Humanitarian Law. Although the development of this technology occurs on a larger scale in corporate settings, the race to militarize these findings exists is not alien to our reality and is more present than we imagine.

This thesis is a study of the notion of "facial attractiveness" in the machine_x000D_ learning with the SVM context. To this end, we have used statistical evaluations_x000D_ made to a group of people who rated front face photographs of women qualifying_x000D_ each on a rating scale according to its appeal. The machine learning technique_x000D_ used is Support Vector Machine (SVM). Then the images were trained in SVM on_x000D_ its respective degree of beauty. By using Chi-square test, we compare the_x000D_ distribution of scores of human evaluators with SVM results show that there is no_x000D_ significant difference between the two groups.
