Objective. Demonstrate the effectiveness of educational intervention in improving healthy lifestyles and self-care for adult women in the glass of milk program of the Municipality of Pillcomarca, Huánuco, Peru. Methods. We worked with a quasi-experimental design of pre and post test of a single group, whose sample was 26 women leaders. Before and after the intervention, the evaluation tests were applied to measure healthy lifestyles and self-care. Results. Regarding the results found before the educational intervention, 57.7% had unhealthy lifestyles, decreasing in the post-test to 7.7%; while in relation to healthy lifestyles, 46.2% in the pre-test increased to 92.3% in the post-test. Likewise, in terms of inadequate self-care practices, 92.3% in the pre-test decreased to 53.8% after the intervention. Conclusion. Objective. To know cultural and emotional factors of diabetic patients facing the disease. Methods. Methodology was qualitative, with ethnographic design. Sample comprised 10 patients, with type 2 diabetes, workers of Universidad Nacional Hermilio Valdizán de Huánuco to whom a semi-structured interview was applied, and data analysis was carried out with the program Atlas.ti. Results. The diabetic patient shows cultural differences that include the subject and their experience of illness. Illness limits patient’s social life. The important values found are settled fundamentally in family support and in feeling productive assuming responsibilities. This study demonstrates the benefits of implementing video analysis (VA) in physics instruction. It aims at demonstrating that the implementation of VA, in addition to being a low-cost and easy-to-use technique, significantly improves students’ understanding level of graphs in kinematics (ULGK). The study compares the results obtained after applying the Test of Understanding Graphs in Kinematics (TUG-K) on a practical kinematics class in a traditional lecture against one conducted using VA, in order to evaluate the influence of VA on students’ ULGK. The population was comprised of 60 students, 30 per group, from the School of Engineering of the Universidad de Huánuco. El objetivo del estudio fue conocer la evaluación integral del desempeño docente de la Facultad de Obstetricia de la UNHEVAL 2016. El estudio fue descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal. Con 61 estudiantes, 18 docentes y un Director Académico, quienes respondieron los instrumentos de valoración y según consideraciones éticas.
