La investigación desarrollada tuvo como propósito general determinar el índice del uso de papel por estudiante en la Universidad Nacional Hermilio Valdizan en el año 2011, ya que a la fecha no existía información al respecto y era necesario contar con ella, puesto que constituye de muchísima importancia en nuestros tiempos como un instrumento de gestión ambiental. This research study was development by a research group which approached to determinate the index paper usage per student of the Universidad National Hermilio Valdizan during 2011, due to the lack of information about this issue and the importance such information due to its value as a environmental manage tool. The goal of this research was to determine the índex of use of paper per student at Hermilio Valdizan National University in 2011, since there is no information about this and it is necessary to count with it, since it is importantto have with a tool forenvironmental management. El trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de conocer el comportamiento del parque automotor respecto a la emisión de algunos de los principales gases contaminantes, resultado de la combustión interna de sus motores, como el monóxido de carbono (co), la combinación de monóxido y dióxido de carbono (co+co2) y la presencia de hidrocarburos (hc) en los gases que emitían los vehículos y saber si sobrepasaban los límites máximos permisibles establecidos por el ministerio de transportes y comunicaciones. Se trabajó en los puntos y áreas de mayor densidad de tráfico vehicular previamente seleccionados. This study demonstrates the benefits of implementing video analysis (VA) in physics instruction. It aims at demonstrating that the implementation of VA, in addition to being a low-cost and easy-to-use technique, significantly improves students’ understanding level of graphs in kinematics (ULGK). The study compares the results obtained after applying the Test of Understanding Graphs in Kinematics (TUG-K) on a practical kinematics class in a traditional lecture against one conducted using VA, in order to evaluate the influence of VA on students’ ULGK. The population was comprised of 60 students, 30 per group, from the School of Engineering of the Universidad de Huánuco. The results show that a strong, highly significant point-biserial correlation (rpb = 0.809) (p < 0.0001) exists between these two variables, that VA has an average impact on the ULGK (Hake = 32.5%) and that the ULGK...
