This paper presents the implementation of a Finger force detection platform capable to measure the exerted forces by the index, middle, ring and little finger in single-axis direction (flexion); and in dual-axis direction (flexion/adduction) by the thumb. It can be adapted to different sizes in both right or left hand. A test protocol is established. Also, a Graphical User Interface (GUI) is developed in order to assist the subject during the test. The results show the maximum forces developed by each finger among Peruvian participants.

This research work deals with the real-time implementation of a nonlinear multivariable position control system which uses a sliding mode controller to generate the control forces. Such a control forces will be applied to translational robot arm of 2 degrees of freedom that consist of a cart mounted on a pair of rails and a link mounted on a pivot point located on the cart. The cart and the link (the arm of the robot) are driven by DC servomotors. Experimentalresults obtained from the designed nonlinear control system will demonstrate that the designed control inputs applied on the servomotors make the outputs (sliding motion of the cart and angular positions of the arm) capable of tracking arbitrary trajectorie.

The objective of this study is to determine how retail business strategies are related to consumption patterns in department stores in a COVID-19 context. The methodology employed has a descriptive and correlational approach at a cross-sectional level. The data collection technique was a survey addressed to a sample of 384 consumers. The most significant result is the moderate and strong correlation coefficient of .702 for the variables with a p = .000 < .05. The results obtained show that retail business strategies are closely related to consumption patterns, which means that shopping habits can be created in customers.

Adopting chatbots as an additional user service channel in companies has been an essential source of savings in companies, and its adoption has increased at least during the last ten years. In addition, due to the leading global restriction of avoiding human contact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, industries accelerated the launching of projects associated with digitization. In Peru, the banking sector also emphasized this channel, mainly because of a digital transformation trend. Customer Service was restricted to a reduction of at least 50% of the capacity in the agencies and reduced opening hours. On the other hand, in the insurance sector, the demand for consultations increased due to the medical assistance cases to be attended. Existen diversos métodos para medir la longitud de onda de la luz. Uno de estos métodos está basado en la relación que existe entre la longitud de onda y los patrones de moteado. La implementación de este método consiste en hacer ingresar luz con un ancho espectral peque˜no sobre un extremo de una fibra óptica multimodal, para generar patrones de moteado a la salida de la fibra óptica. Estos patrones de moteado se relacionan con las longitudes de onda que contiene la luz que ingresa a la fibra óptica. There are different methods to measure light wavelength. One of these methods is based on the relationship between wavelengths and speckle patterns. The original implementation of this method used a multimode optical fiber to generate speckle patterns. To test if this method still operates appropriately when it uses a different source of speckle patterns, this work proposes an implementation in which the multimode optical fiber is replaced by a liquid crystal display (LCD). Our results show that it is possible to implement the method with a LCD. The use of a LCD reduces the mechanical instability and improves the reproducibility of the generated speckle patterns.
