The research explains why factors such as the level of family assets, infrastructure, education and distance to the capital district determine financial inclusion in the districts of Peru. Based on this objective, a descriptive analysis was performed on the relationship between the variables and the approximation on the inferential analysis: estimation using Ordinary Least Squares of a cross section with data up to December 2015.The results show a positive relationship between the factors, with the exception of distance, which could be explained by a concentration in the provision of financial services. Whereas, a large portion of the financial inclusion at the district level would be explained by other components.By identifying these other components, a broader multidimensional definition of financial inclusion was outlined, approaching the issue from a dynamic and evolutionary perspect...

In the Supay-Sahua sector of the Jenaro Herrera District, the lateral migration of the Ucayali River has been eroding the banks of the Supay lagoon and during the 2022 flood it affected riparian forests and crops.  Therefore, this research analyzes the fluvial dynamics and annual migration of the meander curves of the Ucayali River with satellite images from the period 1985-2021 and proposes a future scenario through temporal regression analysis and with fluvial geomorphological analysis. potential fluvial processes. The results indicate that lateral migration of the Ucayali River is increasing in the meanders surrounding the Supay and Sahua lagoons. The Supay meander curve with a migration of 36.4 m/y could erode the shore of the Supay lagoon affecting 137 ha riparian forests and crops in the Once de Agosto and Nuevo Pumacahua communities in the medium term. Likewise, the Lobillo meand...

Between the years of 1960 and 1980 a series of political events shook the country, military coups interchanged with dictatorships and democratic elections. Simultaneously institutions were appearing which were given the task of protecting the cultural heritage. Lima and Cusco — for their historical wealth and built heritage — began to benefit from cultural policies proposed by institutions such as UNESCO and the National Institute of Culture of Peru (INC, today the Ministry of Culture). In this context, the presence of women in politics or positions of importance was overshadowed by the social environment. However, during the time mentioned, a number of women at the national level occupied political positions and contributed to the urban changes at that moment. Unfortunately, in historical research this influence goes quite unnoticed, this is the case of Luisa Robles de Dávalos, for...

The objective of the research was to analyze the feasibility of a cattle manure (Bos taurus) biodigester as a renewable energy source in the district of Ahuaycha. The methodology was applied research, and direct observation was used to determine the manure content and size of the biodigester. The results showed the amount of manure produced by the cows per day, month and year, 1 cow (Bos taurus) produces 4 kg of manure per day, to find the amount of the 12 cows (sample) mathematical operations were performed, which gave a result of 48 kg/day of manure. The biodigester will be tubular and will consist of 4 main parts: the inlet vessel, which serves to introduce the organic matter mixture into the reactor; the biol outlet, which serves to discharge waste from the reactor; and the biogas outlet, which serves to take advantage of the gas accumulated in the biodigester. Therefore, it is concl...

In the COVID-19 pandemic, the generation and composition of municipal solid waste could vary. This study investigated the quantity and composition of municipal solid waste in times of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Madeán Town Center, Madeán District, Yauyos Province, Lima Region, Peru. The total solid waste was separated into eight fractions: paper / cardboard, plastics, organic, textile/leather, metals, electricity/electronics, glass, and others. Its percentage composition by weight was determined for six weeks between September and October 2020. The results showed that the average amount of weekly solid waste was 466.46 Kg ± 82.99 Kg. Regarding the composition, the organic fraction represents the largest part with 75.07%. In addition, in the Populated Center far from the capital, there is evidence of a minimal generation of bio contaminated waste, with a weekly average of 0.3 Kg ± 0...

This paper analyzes the persistence of bipartidism in Valle del Cauca (Colombia), from the results of the local council elections in the 42 districts of the department, between 1992 and 2015. In order to explain this electoral phenomenon, a classic institutional variable such as the magnitude of the district (MD) is used.Using panel data on a random effects model, this paper seeks to assess the existence of a causal relation between MD and the fragmentation of the party system. Then, it shows in which districts, of specific magnitude, the persistence was stronger. In other words, in which districts the transition process to a multiparty system takes longer and what are the key moments during this process. To analyze the persistence of bipartidism the segmented Nagayama Triangle (Nagayama, 1997; Grofman, Chiaramonte, D’Alimonte & Feld, 2004) is used, which reveals information about t...
