The study aimed to analyze the peer sociocognitive interaction and its relationship with individual cognitive progress, in both symmetrical and asymmetrical situations of epistemic competence. Participants were 72 students of fifth and sixth grade (age, M = 11 years, 3 months, SD = 7 months), who solved logical items (pre / post test individual, intermediate dyadic condition). The results indicated: a) the distribution of arguments in the dyad is the main variable of the interactive process related to differences between symmetrical conditions and b) the volume and distribution of the arguments in dyads are significantly associated with individual cognitive advancement, independently of symmetrical/asymmetrical condition. The results are discussed from a socioconstructivist perspective.

This article seeks to analyze the Diary of a medical intern from the perspective of human development and the sociological theory related to educational processes to characterize medical training in the internships. The aim is to reconstruct, through qualitative analysis of the discourse of this testimony, the educational system built around the training of doctors, especially in a crucial period such as internship, in which medical practice is learned within the hospital. In this scenario, learning occurs related to medical knowledge and disease treatments, but also towards attitudes, emotions, and behaviors as a product of social interactions between the actors in health establishments. They shed light on a health system with many material deficiencies that reproduce situations of mistreatment and humiliation not only among doctors, but also towards patients.

Employing a methodology of surveys and participant observation, the research investigates how gender dynamics manifest across domestic, healthcare, productive, and social spheres. The findings highlight ongoing transformations, particularly the emerging involvement of young women in territorial governance and local initiatives aimed at sustainable development. The study argues for the integration of a gender-sensitive perspective in environmental conservation and territo...

The aim of this essay is to explore that the Professional Teaching Identity is configured and reconfigured through School Experiences and Reflective Practice. It is argued that Biographical Marks, formed by significant interactions in the school stage, directly influence Professional Identity. Reflective Practice is presented as an essential tool to re-signify these experiences, allowing future teachers to develop pedagogical strategies and strengthen their professional identity. As a result, tensions between institutional expectations and personal experiences are identified, as well as inequalities in the implementation of reflective practices in different educational contexts. It is concluded that the life histories of Initial Teacher Education students should be integrated and their reflection promoted to reduce the gap between theory and practice. This dynamic process of configuratio...

The media-based communication between social movements and other actors is relevant to achieve their goals. This article addresses the dynamic and contentious aspects of the media-based communication generated by the Magallanes Social Movement and the Government of Chile. A quantitative analysis was made of 217 news and 499 quotations published during the events. The results indicate that the parties adopted differing communication strategies like making calls for action, talking positively about the own group, among others. Furthermore, the content of communications varied over time, but the strong relation between the communications issued and the occurrence of particular protest events suggests that while a communicational contest is certainly an interactive process, both camps do not just argue through the words, but also through the events that each camp organizes.

As a process of human interaction, society has explored different perspectives in its multidimensional approach, and it might be argued that this has influenced education as a social, historical and citizenship issue, subject to economic, political and social models that have been developed across the world, giving rise at every stage in the history of humankind to a new educational molding force for individuals, and the development of human identity. The research addresses the link between emotional dysregulation, nomophobia, and Instagram addiction in Chilean university students. The sample consisted of 218 university students from south-central Chile, who answered the Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Scale (DERS-E), the Nomophobia questionnaire NMP-Q, the Berger Instagram Addiction Scale (BIAS) and reported some parameters of their Instagram account activity. The results account for multiple correlations between nomophobia and Instagram addiction with all dimensions of emotional dysregulation. The number of followers and posts on the Instagram platform did not correlate with the dimensions of emotional dysregulation, although they did show correlations with nomophobia and Instagram addiction. The number of followers, on the...

This article proposes to analyze the representation of race, class and moral in television phenomena “Magaly TeVe” and “Al fondo hay sitio” from an anthropological glance of the television, and understanding their communicative, discursive and social dimensions. On one hand, after analyzing the discourse of “Magaly TeVe”, it was easy to see that the why and how the success of the communication strategy for this television phenomenon closely imposes moral and socially shared codes, and a configured mode of organization, relationship and interaction already validated in our social fabric. On the other hand, after analyzing the discourse of “Al fondo hay sitio”, it was easy to see that we have confused, naively, inclusion with redemption within a framework of convergence space-time of two contradictory cultural codes that permanently relate and interact from guidelines of ra...
