The present investigation was carried out from birth as an Independent Republic Ecuador; and the analysis on the course of the Ecuadorian higher education, beginning with the promulgation of the First Consti-tution of September 23, 1830, until his last force since September 28, 2008, representing a total of twenty, which they have provided the basis for this study. With this, the information has been synthesized in six phases, they have not been determined with a speci-fic range of time, but based on the expectation that generated the constitutional framework that allowed to move from one state to another, identifying each of them, the time of analysis, the most outstanding actions that allow us to understand and historically relate the process of transformation of the Ecuadorian higher education that is living in the moment, where all institutions of the system are subject to improvement...

Globalization has intensified competition in many markets. To remain competitive, the companies look for satisfying the needs of customers by meeting market requirements. In this context, Process Capability Indices (PCI) play a crucial role in assessing the quality of processes. In the case of non-normal data there are two general approaches based on transformations (Box-Cox and Johnson Transformation) and Percentiles (Pearson’s and Burr’s Distribution Systems). However, previous studies on the comparison of these methods show different conclusions, and thus arises the need to clarify the differences between these methods to implement a proper estimation of these indices. In this paper, a simulation study is made in order to compare the above methods and to propose an appropriate methodology for estimating the PCI in non-normal data. Furthermore, it is concluded that the best method ...

The paper presents the results of the analysis of technological education, namely the identification of educational technology and the technological process. It was found that most major technology creators transform both their ideas and their techniques into modern technological operations as well as educational technologies. The authors propose that the training process may be regarded as technological in nature and the one that embraces the same methods of analysis (including activity approaches). In other words, the analysis of the educational process is identical to the analysis of technological process. In methodological terms, the closest to that step sequence is project-based learning. The conclusion is reached by drawing on the analysis of training processes in general and on the analysis of operational training in particular including the step-by-step performance of certain tec...

This article constitutes a contribution to the processes of peace consolidation developed during post-conflict scenarios. In this vein it proposes a path that allows to truly materialize the transformative effect of integral reparations, in particular in traditionally unequal societies, where victims of serious violations of human rights usually are members of the most marginalized and vulnerable groups. It starts from the idea that transitional justice is a process of political, social and cultural transformation, so that the reparation of that sort of violations must be designed and developed in such a way that it contributes to the transformation, avoiding being itself a generatorof new social gaps. Therefore, the classic approach of reparation measures, based on pure corrective justice, must give way to the need to change the structural causes of the conflict and open the way for a t...

Objective. To implement the OEDI cycle to configure the assembly of a pilot plant for cocoa processing in the municipality of Frontino, Antioquia (Colombia), as part of the SENA Project, Cocoa 4.0. Methods. The methodology offered a strategic management tool of great importance for the industrial and food sector, using conceptual and operational learning that generated different administrative bases in the strengthening of transversal axes (attenuators and amplifiers), which were developed during the project. This allowed defining different performance criteria to achieve a better management of complexity in a specific situation. By establishing the links of the OEDI cycle, changes were generated in the synergy of the project in which different actors intervene in the supply chain, where communication is absolutely necessary to meet the requested requirements. Results. It is highlighted ...

This article discusses the necessary linkages that must exist between the State and the dialogue. To propose that the State is the space for dialogue par excellence, the text relies on the ethical nature that is inherent in the constitution of the State. Furthermore, the State represents a strategic and forward-looking perspective for human life in the world that is expressed and founded on such important issues as equality, recognition and democracy. This reflection about the State aims to reposition the role of the State in the face of its actual difficulties and limitations at becoming a true space for dialogue. The article reviews the characteristics that any dialogue must have taking into account the characteristics of conflicts, and especially socio-environmental ones, and their transformation process. It insists on the role of openness, open communication and permanent negotiation...

The study of Neuroscience and The seven Learnings introduce Neuroscience as the new paradigm that enables to analyze and explain the intelligent human behavior. The discoveries found in this field have been shown not only in the theory but in the pedagogical practice as well. In the first case, one of the most recent theories about intelligent behavior has been conceived from the perspective of neuroscience (science that studies HUMAN BRAIN). (Beauport and Diaz, 1994) This study has given more relevance to the relation between the function of the brain and human behavior as well as the conditions that lead to an efficient teaching – learning process. In this context, we introduce The seven Learnings, described by Edgar Morin that state central problems which have been ignored and that are necessary in order to reach a successful teachinglearning process in this century. These seven Lea...

The main objective of this research was to propose a management model based on transformational leadership to improve the quality of university processes. It was attended by all managers (10 participants), administrative workers (7 participants), teachers (164 teachers) and students (340 participants) who belong to the different Professional Schools of the Private University Filial Chiclayo. A quasi-experimental study was made. The results obtained show that after having analyzed the components of the university process and having made a 360 ° assessment in relation to the leadership of the managers, it is necessary to apply a management model with a certain type of leadership, which according to the theory It should be based on the type of transformational leadership. This type of management model has contributed to improving the quality of the processes of the aforementioned universit...

Improvements in production systems that use the lean manufacturing approach known as “Lean” have the objective of eliminating or reducing waste or process inefficiencies (muda). This approach is increasingly adopted by different industrial sectors, including agriculture. Although Lean improvements are traditionally applied to existing processes from cultivation to distribution, opportunities to intervene in processing wastes (losses) are left aside. This article presents a methodological approach framed in five Lean principles, made up of six activities aimed at the design of new processes that make use of the losses generated by harvesting and agricultural transformation. The methodological approach is applied in a Colombian coffee farm where parchment coffee transformation processes are developed. A parallel losses composting process is designed that transforms defective, green, ov...

The study aimed to describe the circular economy (CE) from an innovation perspective. Using ScienceDirect with the search equation: “circular economy model” AND “technological innovation” AND “development” and the fi lters of the years 2021, 2022, and 2023, the open-access review article was selected. Th e information was analyzed using the Prisma methodology. Th en, a seed map was generated from Google Litmap where a link quadrant was created according to previous citations of correspondence. From a total of 32 review articles, four were fi nally analyzed. It was observed, from quadrants that there was a citation match up to 2018. It is concluded that CE enables resource effi ciency and sustainability from its basis in technological innovation. Th e concept of CE has a broad interpretation, and this was shown by the lack of overlapping citations after 2018, which would indic...

After the fall of the Berlin Wall and the so-called “Washington Consensus”, the United States promoted the Free Trade Area of the Americas (LAC) with Canada and Mexico, the same one that managed to spread through Central America and some South American countries through some Free Trade Agreements; while in the Southern Hemisphere the Southern Common Market (Mercosur) was constituted that unites Brazil, Argentina, Integration processes are dynamic insofar as politics and the economy are interdependent factors not only at the local level, but also at the international level. Therefore, it isimportant to highlight what are the factors or constitutive dimensions of sub regional integration processes.
