To evaluate the impact of the international accreditation process at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos’s Faculty of Dentistry was the purpose of the investigation. Methodology: The study was descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective. The sample was made up by 307 (of 450) students randomly selected. The data collection was obtained by a questionnaire survey. Chi square test (SPSS 20) was applied. The results showed that the level of student’s satisfaction related to accreditation process was regular to good (37.1% and 51.3%). The factor denominated Academic Processes is analyzed specifically, framed as part of the development of the teaching - learning process under the principle of continuous improvement that finally had the effect to be the first school of Industrial Engineering in Peru in being internationally accredited.

El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objetivo de definir la influencia de una aplicación web en el proceso de medición de resultados del estudiante del programa de Ingeniería de Sistemas Computacionales de una Universidad Privada en el año 2019. El tipo de estudio fue preexperimental; con una muestra constituida por los procesos de medición de resultados del estudiante ejecutados en los semestres 2018-2 y 2019-1. Machine learning is a branch of artificial intelligence that uses scientific computing, mathematics and statistics through automated techniques to solve problems based on classification, regression and clustering. Social demand refers to the need for service and product of the professional training process, expressed by interest groups, aimed at contributing to national development, as established by the quality assurance policy of university higher education and national licensing and accreditation models. In this context, this paper conducts research based on job positions of IT professionals posted n web portals, designs a machine learning process with an unsupervised approach, extracts occupational profiles, designs a multidimensional model, applies k-means clustering when determining clusters of job positions by similarity, and reports the results obtained.

Public entities and institutions in Peru offer several services to citizens, where there are payments and financial transactions. Therefore, an important process called “payment accreditation” is necessary when a bank send public entities all the transactions, in a file, made by Internet and bank counters during a day, then these are registered as valid. The main solution presented in this article is the implementation of a task-scheduler and a register payment application, which were developed under Java language programming, Spring Framework, JMS (Java Message Service) and a Message Broker. As a result, the solution produced a great design for information system because UML was applied, also a right software architecture and its accurate documentation for further maintenances.

This paper examines how implementing an Engineering Processes Laboratory (extrinsic factors) led to the non-dissatisfaction of Industrial Engineering students with the quality of teaching in said course. The study used the factor 10-SINEACE (National System of Evaluation, Accreditation and Certification of Educational Quality) and Herzberg’s theory to measure this impact. This measurement was performed on a representative sample of students of the Engineering Processes course through a laboratory test. Data was collected on the laboratory equipment requirements and students’ needs and was then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U statistical test. The results showed that the teaching quality was “not dissatisfactory”, providing statistical evidence of the positive impact of the Engineering Process Laboratory.

La presente tesis fue desarrollada con el propósito de implementar un sistema experto capaz de mejorar el proceso de acreditación en la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Católica Sedes Sapientiae.
