We evaluate the performance of an Omnivision OV5647 CMOS image sensor (5 Mp) for detecting radiation from Sr90 and Cs137 sources. Our experimental setup uses a Raspberry Pi 3 mini-computer for data acquisition, with image processing using Python and OpenCV libraries. We specify the necessary settings to convert a standard camera into a particle detector sensitive to electrons and photons, including a two-step background filtering procedure. In addition, we implement the first detailed Geant4 simulation that describes the layered geometry and material composition of a commercial CMOS sensor along with the radioactive sources. A pediatric stander is an adapted piece of equipment whose function is to achieve the vertical position of the child when motor control is inadequate, in other words, when the child cannot stand and control his weight against gravity, having the age to do it. This technical equipment is necessary for patients diagnosed with cerebral palsy who have already acquired head control and initiated trunk control. This product has a high value in Peru. For the generation of this equipment, we will apply a computer editing and design process, we will follow a 5-step process in addition to applying CAD, CAE, and CAM techniques, emphasizing the design optimization method. Finally, we will verify how the application of this methodology, together with computer simulation, allows us to generate a functional, resistant prototype and, in the main point, with optimization in design and acquisition costs.

In this paper, a three-dimensional numerical solution for the bending study of laminated composite doubly-curved shells is presented. The partial differential equations are solved analytically by the Navier summation for the midsurface variables; this method is only valid for shells with constant curvature where boundary conditions are considered simply supported. The partial differential equations present different coefficients, which depend on the thickness coordinates. A semi-analytical solution and the so-called Differential Quadrature Method are used to calculate an approximated derivative of a certain function by a weighted summation of the function evaluated in a certain grin domain. El artículo se centra en la aplicación de tecnología CAD/CAM en la odontología, específicamente en la fabricación de prótesis dentales totales. Este avance ha transformado la forma en que se diseñan y producen estas prótesis, emergiendo la fabricación de ella mediante capas sucesivas a base de tecnologías de impresión 3D como la estereolitografía, el procesamiento digital de luz y la pantalla de cristal líquido. En la presente revisión se profundizó en aspectos clínicos y biomecánicos, evaluando la retención, adaptación de la base, resistencia a la flexión y límite elástico de las prótesis. El presente trabajo describe el diseño y desarrollo de una cabina fructificadora automatizada destinada al cultivo del hongo comestible Hericium erinaceus (Melena de León). El sistema integra módulos de control ambiental capaces de regular la temperatura y humedad relativa mediante estrategias de control independientes, permitiendo al usuario establecer valores de operación entre 20 °C y 28 °C para la temperatura y entre 80 % y 95 % para la humedad. In the age of the Internet, anonymous online users can form a societal reaction by posting large quantities of critique and insulting comments against (perceived) norm violations on social media. These so-called online firestorms, or Enjō in Japanese, tend to include aggressive behavior against the target. This research aims to reveal the dynamics of Enjō and explores how people communicate with each other in the formation process of Enjō by conducting a comparative case study. This study collects tweets posted in five Enjō cases and compares each case to create conceptual categories of the communication process of Enjō.
