Las técnicas para promover calidad en el área de comunicación pueden ser diversas, sin embargo, en esta investigación científica tenemos como objetivo establecer la relación que existe entre la técnica del debate y el desarrollo de la expresión oral de los alumnos de quinto grado de primaria en la IE N. 3507. Con enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético deductivo, corte transversal y nivel ordinal utilizamos un diseño correlacional descriptivo y para levantar la información encuesta que tiene validez por tres jurados expertos y confiabilidad por el coeficiente de Crombach. Determina la relación entre la técnica del debate y el desarrollo de la expresión oral en alumnos de quinto grado de la I.E. Nº 3507 Caudivilla – Carabayllo. Se adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo, utilizando el método hipotético deductivo, un corte transversal y un nivel de análisis ordinal en un diseño correlacional descriptivo. Para la recolección de datos, se emplearon rúbricas de evaluación para la expresión oral y listas de cotejo para el debate, validadas por tres jurados expertos y con fiabilidad comprobada a través del coeficiente de Cronbach.
