The aim of this study was to identify and systematize information about the knowledge and practices associated with exposure to the taeniasis/cysticercosis complex among backyard pig breeders in the endemic district of Masma, province of Jauja, Peru. An interview guide was designed, and its execution was coordinated with the local authority. Consent was requested for the recording of the interviews. In addition, information was collected on the environment of the breeder's house and the raising of the pigs. A new vaccination programme against infectious bursal disease using a virusantibody complex vaccine in comparison with a traditional programme under field conditions was evaluated. In each group, 21,800 broiler chickens of Cobb Vantress 500 line were used. The experimental group was vaccinated with the strain 2512 in combination with specific antibodies at the incubation plant on day 18 of embryonic development, whereas the control group received two vaccines of live virus, the Bursine®2 and Bursa Blen, administered by drinking water at 8 and 19 days of age respectively. La presente investigación se interesa por conocer los efectos que el Proyecto Piloto Martinete-PPM, ha tenido en las condiciones de vida de la población beneficiaria. Para ello, se realizó una aproximación a las percepciones de los residentes sobre la unidad habitacional recibida, sobre su vida de vecindario -tanto dentro del conjunto habitacional como en el entorno inmediato-, y el acompañamiento de las instituciones públicas al proyecto. El estudio encuentra que existe una alta satisfacción en la percepción referida a la vivienda entregada como un aporte a las condiciones de vida de las familias, donde muchas de ellas invierten en su expansión o también la utilizan como fuente de ingresos, a partir de emprendimientos económicos. We present an unusual case of birth of a neonate with complex chromosomal rearrangement type apparently balanced three-way translocation, The neonate presented with karyotype 46, XY t(3; 12; 15)(q12; q13; q15) de novo, with dysmorphic features, such as low ear implantation, redundant skin on the neck , micropenis, congenital heart disease with anatomical variant without functional alteration who was born and evaluated at our institution. This type of rearrangement is usually related to conditions other than congenital malformations, such as hematological disorders, and in phenotypically normal carriers with fertility problems; therefore, it is important to carry out a thorough follow-up of the patient due to possible complications in their psychomotor development and adequate genetic counseling to family members.

The penitentiary system and its reforms have struggled with their formulation and implementation in order to fulfill its constitutional mandate of re-education, rehabilitation and reincorporation of former convicts into society. We present an analysis of the challenges that the State’s administrative capacity faces towards the Peruvian Penitentiary System in its complex adaptive system and the penitentiary supervision during the pandemic under charge of the Ombudsman. We conclude that an integral reform includes the Ombudsman as a National Torture Prevention Mechanism (NPM), and as a congregator for other State and Civil Society Actors for the implementation of long-term sustainable actions.

The Peruvian Amazon, a biodiversity hotspot, is facing severe deforestation, highlighting the need for precise conservation strategies. However, detailed information on the phenology of its forest species and their relationship with climate is limited, and herbarium data present biases. This thesis aimed primarily to determine the phenological behavior of 100 key forest species, using 758 fertile specimens from the Herbarium Amazonense. The research sought to record their flowering and fruiting cycles, analyze their geographic distribution, and correlate these patterns with temperature and precipitation. The methodology was quantitative, non-experimental, and descriptive correlational, employing statistical analyses and geospatial tools. The Peruvian state has developed national policies that largely address the population seeking access to Technical Productive Education (TPE). However, these efforts prove insufficient in addressing the complex public issue of accessing elementary-level technical education. A significant portion of the population aiming to enter the National Center for Technical Education (CETPRO) as a prominent alternative does not necessarily find optimal conditions, leading to the perception of CETPRO as an unattractive option. Moreover, considering CETPRO as an integrated modality, the transition from elementary to higher education is not viewed as a viable opportunity to cultivate a competitive workforce in the labor market.

Objetivo: Determinar cómo las condiciones de trabajo se relacionan con la calidad de vida laboral de la enfermera en el área de hospitalización del Servicio de medicina interna. Metodología: Enfoque cuantitativo, nivel de investigación descriptivo correlacional, diseño observacional y transversal. Muestra conformada por 150 enfermeras. Para medir la variable condiciones de trabajo, se utilizó el instrumento elaborado por García et al. en Colombia el año 2011 y adaptado por Berrospi et al. el 2017 en Perú. La medición de la variable variable calidad de vida laboral, se realizó con el cuestionario CVP_35 elaborado por Karasek. Persons find it difficult to know, identify and understand legal provisions, which being abundant coexist with the fluctuating case law, the doctrine, among other legal cognitive inputs. In view of the foregoing, this research attempts to overcome the problem of the cognoscibility of law through two practical applications of artificial intelligence – expert informative and cognitive legal systems – with the aim of ensuring better conditions of access, identification and comprehension of the law, by all persons, to suitably channel their behaviors. This scenario manages to configure a new interaction between the legal information and the persons, to attain further knowledge of the law as an ideal condition of legal security.
