The study had as a general objective, to validate based on a critical and structured analysis the evidence of glaucoma genetics. The research focus was qualitative, interpretive hermeneutical design; the population made up of a set of documents and treatises on the variable under study; the technique used was the documentary and content analysis, the instruments used were the content analysis matrix and bibliographic record; which analyzed the information collected. Among the main conclusions it was found that congenital glaucoma (GC) is caused by abnormal growth in terms of aqueous humor drainage formation. In addition, GC is associated with different disease subtypes such as primary open angle glaucoma. We present an unusual case of birth of a neonate with complex chromosomal rearrangement type apparently balanced three-way translocation, The neonate presented with karyotype 46, XY t(3; 12; 15)(q12; q13; q15) de novo, with dysmorphic features, such as low ear implantation, redundant skin on the neck , micropenis,  congenital heart disease with anatomical variant without functional alteration who was born and evaluated at our institution. This type of rearrangement is usually related to conditions other than congenital malformations, such as hematological disorders, and in phenotypically normal carriers with fertility problems; therefore, it is important to carry out a thorough follow-up of the patient due to possible complications in their psychomotor development and adequate genetic counseling to family members.

Objetivo. Determinar los factores de riesgo en el desarrollo de Síndrome HELLP en gestantes atendidas en el Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal, 2018-2021. Materiales y métodos. Estudio retrospectivo de corte transversal con diseño de casos y controles. Se recopilaron 2500 historias clínicas, seleccionando 196 participantes: 98 casos y 98 controles, siguiendo criterios de elegibilidad. Se utilizó una ficha de recolección de datos con variables y dimensiones del estudio. Para el análisis, se empleó SPSS, aplicando técnicas de frecuencia y pruebas de Chi cuadrado de Pearson para evaluar las asociaciones. Resultados. En los casos de síndrome de HELLP, la mayor prevalencia se observó en mujeres solteras y convivientes, representando un 16,8% (p = 0,583).
