Objective: To evaluate associated factors with health-related quality of life in older adults’ beneficiaries of the “Pensión 65” program in Angaraes, Huancavelica. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study. 160 people over 65 years-old were surveyed using the SF-36 questionnaire to measure health-related quality of life through eight dimensions (physical function, physical role, corporal pain, emotional role, general health, vitality, social function and mental health) and two components (physical health-SF and mental health-SM). Additionally, data about demographic and social characteristics was collected. The relationship with health-related quality of life was evaluated through multivariable models (multiple linear regression). Objective: Describe the effectiveness of primary maternal health care through the budget program 0002 Maternal Neonatal Health, with the participation of the local government level. Material and methods: The programming and budget execution of the activity was analyzed: Municipal actions that promote sexual and reproductive health with emphasis on healthy motherhood. To evaluate the effectiveness, result indicators of the budget program were considered that are linked to the functions of the local government level within the framework of the Organic Law of Municipalities. En la realidad peruana a nivel demográfico se llega a la conclusión de que la población peruana se encuentra en proceso de envejecimiento. Además, es preciso tomar en cuenta que el proceso de envejecimiento en la persona origina cambios estructurales y anatómicos significativos como la disminución de la masa muscular y ósea lo cual afecta en gran medida su desempeño y capacidad funcional, pero este proceso podría reducirse si el adulto mayor realiza actividad física de forma regular. Introducción: La enfermedad periodontal (EP), que incluye patologías como la gingivitis y la periodontitis, afecta entre el 20% y el 50% de la población mundial, y es una de las principales causas de pérdida dentaria. Esta condición compromete funciones como la masticación, la estética y la calidad de vida. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre enfermedad periodontal en estudiantes universitarios de carreras del área de salud y no salud en una universidad privada del Perú. The way in which individuals and groups explain poverty shapes how they relate to it. This paper inquires the beliefs of university students about the causes of poverty and analyses the relation of these beliefs with their professional training area. An assessment instrument that considers three type of attributions -individualist, socio-structural and fatalistic-, was administered to a sample of 448 advanced university students belonging to nine social sciences programs, aged between 19 and 42 years (M = 22.92; SD = 3.12). The results obtained indicate important variations in the explanations about poverty according to the professional training area.
