En el último número de su revista se ha publicado la guía de práctica clínica “El abordaje temprano y tratamiento mixto en el manejo de la esquizofrenia” (1). Este documento busca dar respuesta a cuatro preguntas clínicas referentes al manejo de este trastorno. Las respuestas a estas interrogantes se realizan en base a una adaptación de la guía “Psychosis and schizophrenia in adults: treatment and management” desarrollado por National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (2). Una de las interrogantes de la guía peruana fue “¿cuál es el beneficio de la intervención temprana en el primer episodio psicótico?”. Es sobre el manejo del primer episodio psicótico que quisiera hacer algunas precisiones.

This article proposes an intervention program to create consciousness among elementary school students and parents of Basic and Regular Education about gender violence to eventually identify gender’s violence ways of expression and the different aspects where these develop such as their homes, school, and society in general. Given that these attitudes tend to be blinded or normalized when a type of violence is manifested oriented by the gender. Accomplishing this, it will promote a better coexistence generating better opportunities for everyone. Objective: To identify how the implementation of a peripheral pharmaceutical intervention program influences the prevention of anemia in children from 0 to 5 years of age.Materials and methods: A quantitative, descriptive and comparative study was conducted with a purposive non-probability sampling. The study population consisted of 40 children and the sample included 28 children from 0 to 5 yearsof age, of both sexes, living in the Carlos Manuel Cox shanty town, located in the district of Ancón, province of Lima, Peru. The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of the intervention program on male reproductive health through the development of citizenship competencies in adolescents from basic education institutions. The research design was quasi-experimental, with a pretest-posttest approach. The sample was made up of 21 male students. The following results were obtained: male sexual and reproductive health dimension, the highest percentage of achievement was achieved in the emotional competencies “I get angry when they make fun of the size of my penis” and in the communicative competency “I debate with my friends when they speak falsehoods about the use of condoms. The objective was to determine the effects of the intervention in the management of domestic solid waste for reuse, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact in the district of Los Olivos. The approach was quantitative, descriptive, quasi-experimental design. The population consisted of 40 families from a condominium in the north of Lima who were trained with 12 educational sessions on solid waste management. The participatory mechanism used was the intervention of a program that managed the reuse of domestic solid waste, which involved citizen participation in the municipal waste management process in order to reduce environmental impact and improve citizen awareness. El objetivo de este estudio transversal fue reunir información entre hombres que tienen sexo con hombres (HSH) con respecto a sus preferencias al buscar información de salud sexual y relacionada a prevención del VIH en la Internet. 1,160 HSH peruanos, mayores de 18 años, completaron una encuesta en línea alojada en www.tunexo.org. La edad media fue de 26.8 años. Alrededor del 90 % tenía educación post secundaria. La prevalencia de VIH auto reportada fue del 12,3 %. La aceptabilidad del contenido de salud sexual fue mayor en el grupo con mayor nivel educativo. The objective of the research was to improve the level of knowledge of preventive techniques in oral health through the Educational Program called "Healthy mouths, happy faces" in children under 5 in vulnerable situations in Puno (Peru). Study was experimental, longitudinal and prospective with pre and posttest using educational and communicative method. The simplified Greene-Vermillion index and a validated questionnaire called "Oral Health for Parents" were used to evaluate oral hygiene in children. Worldwide, breast cancer represents the most frequent tumor among women. A pre-experimental study was carried out, with the use of quantitative and qualitative methods in the family doctor’s offi ce 31, of the 50th Anniversary Polyclinic of Manicaragua, Cuba from January 2018 to June 2021, to determine the eff ectiveness of an educational program for the control of modifi able risk factors of breast cancer, in women of the clinic 31 of Manicaragua. From a population of 128 women aged 25 to 75 years and over, a sample of 25 women was selected according to non-probabilistic sampling by criteria. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Objective: Determine the impact of the program “My Friend Iron” on the nutritional lifestyle to prevent anemia among the students of Human Nutrition at the Universidad Peruana Union, Lima 2006.Methodology: The design of the research was pre-experimental because it worked with a group ofstudents who submitted a questionnaire before and after the intervention program “My Friend Iron”.Results: After the application of the program “My Friend Iron,” 60,7% of the students obtained agood level of understanding, 28,6% an excellent level of understanding, and only 10,7% a regular level ofunderstanding about the theme concerned.
