The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of the intervention program on male reproductive health through the development of citizenship competencies in adolescents from basic education institutions. The research design was quasi-experimental, with a pretest-posttest approach. The sample was made up of 21 male students. The following results were obtained: male sexual and reproductive health dimension, the highest percentage of achievement was achieved in the emotional competencies “I get angry when they make fun of the size of my penis” and in the communicative competency “I debate with my friends when they speak falsehoods about the use of condoms. In the dimension of risks in male reproductive health, the highest percentage of achievement corresponded to emotional competence "when I refuse to consume some type of drug, rejection of my decision does not affect me."
