In this study, the level of violence was verified, proposing a reduction of violence in students through a school coexistence program, based on four theoretical foundations. Research worked with the quantitative approach and propositional descriptive design, in a sample of 155 students through a digital questionnaire validated by 5 experts with the degree of doctor, which obtained a McDonald's Omega reliability ω = 0.871 calculated using the Jomovi program. The results showed the prevalence of the low level with 84.52% of school violence. Likewise, the low level predominated in its four dimensions: physical aggression, verbal aggression, hostility and anger with 84.52%, 87.74%, 83.87%, 74.84% respectively, designing a school coexistence program organized in 15 didactic sessions to reduce violence in secondary school students.

Public Budgeting Program 068 (PP068 by its Spanish initials) is part of the National System for Disaster Risk Management financial strategy and is linked to disaster risk management processes—among them, the processes of Reactive Management (GR by its Spanish initials). It enables articulated interventions between entities from the three government levels to reduce the vulnerability of the population and their means of living. The study determined the relationship between PP068 and GR based on the budget allocation for the products and actions aimed at the preparation, response and rehabilitation processes. This means that the variables have a cause and effect relationship; this is to say, a considerable budget allocation in PP068 helps to put the preparation and response procedures from reactive management into operation, resulting in value creation in municipality interventions as a ...

The research addresses the evaluation of the effectiveness of social food programs in Peru from 2012 to 2021. The findings indicate that the "Qali Warma" program exhibits deficiencies in budget management, since the increase in beneficiaries is attributed to the inclusion of people not qualified as poor. As for "Cuna Más", there has been a decrease in its effectiveness in recent years, mainly due to the impact of the pandemic. On the other hand, the "Vaso de Leche" program, despite receiving fewer resources, demonstrates its effectiveness in contributing to the improvement of social welfare. In contrast, the evolution of the health program has not been as successful in ensuring a significant reduction in anemia and chronic malnutrition in children. Logistic regression analysis reveals that these programs are preferentially implemented in urban areas and are not necessarily associated wi...

Evidence has been found of how the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has increased stress and anxiety indicators. Against this background, the present research aims to determine the effect of a distance Reiki intervention program on stress and anxiety during the period of isolation due to COVID-19 among people working in the city of Lima, Peru. The related hypothesis was that distance Reiki would generate a reduction in stress and anxiety levels. It was a quasiexperimental design with pre- and posttests, with nonprobabilistic purposive sampling. In total, 28 employees participated (12 in the experimental group and 16 in the control group). As part of the method, the following instruments were used: the EPGE, IDARE, and Coronavirus Anxiety Scale (CAS). There was a large decrease in the distress parameter (Cohen's d = 1.006), as well as in the state anxiety parameter (d = 1.678)...

In Peru, according to the definition of the National Institute of Statistics and Data Processing (INEI, 2023), an individual in considered to be living in poverty if their monthly income is below PEN 415. Poverty decreased considerably from 2011 to 2019. However, after the COVID-19 pandemic, it has significantly increased, to the detriment of all progress made in the previous decade. Even though social welfare programs are a good option to fight poverty, it is necessary for these programs to complement their strategy with financial literacy to improve their effectiveness. This paper evaluates the current situation and the importance of financial literacy for the reduction of poverty in Peru. This research is descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional. The results of several studies conducted in various countries revealed that financial literacy is significantly effective to reduc...

Introduction: The prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors such as overweight, dyslipidemia, hypertension (HTN) and diabetes mellitus (DM2) has increased in recent decades, so there are multiple programs to reduce this prevalence. Objective: To evaluate the early effect of a program aimed at reducing cardiovascular risk factors in secondary education teachers. Methods: An intervention study was carried out based on the application of physical exercises and nutritional education workshops once a week for three consecutive months. General data were recorded and the lipid profile, glucose, blood pressure and body composition were quantified by using the bioimpedance balance, at the beginning of the intervention and 3 months later in the intervention group and the control group. To evaluate the effect of the program, the averages were compared and the level of significance was defined at 0....

Behavior-based safety programs are applied with the aim of reinforcing the level of safety at work, but if it is done by complying with a number of observations of safe behavior established in the goal of the month in the workplace, it generates in workers who only comply with safety while being observed or that observers report behaviors that they did not really see; consequently, accidents with workers continue and even worse with fatal cases, observers stop believing in the safety program they are using and management comes to believe that with a greater number of observations it is possible to correct unsafe behaviors; therefore, the results of the program are not achieved over time. This is a consequence of not having understood the principles of behavior-based security theory since the beginning of its implementation. In the present investigation, the behavior-based security theory...

The development of nanosatellite has increased in recent years, especially from universities and space agencies of developing countries. This increase is mainly due to reduced costs - compared to standard space missions - of the implementation of nanosatellites missions. Despite the cost reduction on a nanosatellite mission, although it's hard to implement a mission of this dimension for universities in developing countries. This difficulty is mainly due to low economic resources, the poor organization of research groups, the rapid stage of students who after graduation are not longer interested in unfinished projects. By the above reasons, in this paper, we present the proposal to form the INCA Team for its acronym in Spanish 'Investigacion en Ciencias Aeroespaciales' (research on Aerospace Sciences), and also the name of the team refers to one of the most important cultures of Peru. Wi...

the purpose of this research study was to determine whether implementing a motivation program could lead to a reduction in the rate of occupational accidents in the bakery plant of a manufacturing company based in Lima. The study followed a quasi-experimental approach and used a pretest/posttest design with a single group and a sample of 117 workers. The data collection methods included statistical data on work-related accidents, direct observations in the workplace, recording and monitoring of interactions, and a motivation questionnaire. The research results revealed that implementing the IPLEFOR motivation program—which spanned 21 months—led to a 100% reduction in the accident rate. Consequently, it led to a significant improvement in the occupational health and safety system.
