The recent suspension of U.S. government support for various health and development programs in Latin America highlights the risks of dependence on foreign cooperation. This decision compromises Peru's progress in public health, particularly in strategic areas such as HIV prevention, tuberculosis control, and the elimination of communicable diseases. Despite the historical dependence on international cooperation, USAID reports have highlighted the potential for self-sustainability of the programs implemented in Peru. However, the suspension of foreign support significantly impacts on the development of activities that favor health care coverage, continuity of services, and research capacity in public health. These effects could be sustained in the long term, with consequences that are difficult to reverse if compensation measures or national strengthening strategies are not adopted.

The objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of the GeoGebra software on the problem-solving skills of two-dimensional geometric figures in a sample of 53 university students distributed in two groups (control -experimental) evaluated in two moments: before and after the intervention. . Parametric tests were used to compare independent and related pairs and nonparametric tests were used to compare between classification levels. The results showed that the post-test experimental group was the one that presented the best performance, demonstrating that the use of GeoGebra software improved the solving skills of this type of mathematical problems, promoting collaborative work, social-student integration and improvement of the classroom climate. It is recommended to extend the use of this tool with other applications that help the teaching-learning process.

With the approval of the European Directive 1937/2019 on October 23rd, that the countries of the European Union are required to transpose no later than two years after its entry into force, all companies, as well as public entities with more than fifty workers, must enable a whistleblower channel. The purpose of this article is to synthesize the main novelties that this norm introduces, highlighting the importance of initially reaching an agreement on the very definition of the informant. In Spain, the lack of regulation of this figure so far has led the doctrine to search for solutions in the general theory of crime, as well as in other disciplines of law, in order to solve the difficulties that have arisen with the use of reporting channels by companies that chosed to incorporate a compliance program. Finally, we will point out some of the problems arising from the transposition of the...

Observing the transformations articulated in society, culture and communication, with an emphasis on the expanded use of digital platforms in the subjects’ daily lives, this paper seeks to present central theoretical premises to categorize the notion of platformized intellectual in contrast with the presence of digital influencers in social media. Starting mainly from the theoretical framework developed by Antonio Gramsci to define the intellectual and his political praxis, we discuss the characteristics of this subject and his field of action in a platformized society. Based on a theoretical debate and an exploratory documentary research, we discuss the potential, limitations and strategies of intellectual activity in a platformized society seeing how their creations work as a form political education.

The current concepts on management of the built Heritage led by ICOMOS and the European Council are moving forward beyond the building capacity of our current system of heritage management. However there are a lot of complex projects that are being carried out in partnerships between Peruvian academic institutions and major international conservation organizations. This paper lists some of the local and foreign experiences that can help to create a shift that will allow conservation as Research and Development (R&D) 2 ventures to connect public, private and academic partners through the Bruno Roselli Chair, a research program that will streamline and support a contemporary approach of the Peruvian built heritage.

The task of elaborating accurate test suites for program testing can be an extensive computational work. Mutation testing is not immune to the problem of being a computational and time-consuming task so that it has found relief in the use of heuristic techniques. The use of Genetic Algorithms in mutation testing has proved to be useful for probing test suites, but it has mainly been enclosed only in the field of imperative programming paradigms. Therefore, we decided to test the feasibility of using Genetic Algorithms for performing mutation testing in functional programming environments. We tested our proposal by making a graph representations of four different functional programs and applied a Genetic Algorithm to generate a population of mutant programs. We found that it is possible to obtain a set of mutants that could find flaws in test suites in functional programming languages. Ad...

This paper studies the problems of the traditional food industry in Peruvian social programs, and how the Blockchain would serve as a solution that includes the immutable registration of information allowing the tracking of food by each responsible party in the process. It was observed that millions of people become ill or die from eating infected, spoiled, or intoxicated food and that these problems are directly linked to the registration and communication areas of the participants in the supply chain. It was concluded that combining technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain is an extremely attractive option for the transparent tracking of food from its production to its sale and consumption; likewise, using smart contracts ensures compliance with all the conditions necessary for its consumption. Finally, it should be mentioned that, by being able to track in seco...

The aim of this study was to determine the key factors of the digital teacher training system in public primary schools, which aims to improve teachers' digital competence. Digital competence is defined as the creative, critical, and safe use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) [1]. Worldwide, several countries use within their digital training programs institutional frameworks such as the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and/or UNESCO [2] [3]. In Peru, the Framework for Good Teaching Performance, a guiding document for public teachers, only encourages its use according to the purpose of the learning session. In 2020, the Closing Digital Divide strategy revealed that 81% of public teachers required training to integrate technologies into their pedagogical practice. This study used stru...

This article develops a topic of interest for users who can access the Internet and do not know the dangers of connecting to a free access network where the administrator of this is unknown, so a connection to this network would not be recommended. The central theme of this research is to demonstrate the risks of connecting to unknown access networks. The methodology used was the evaluation of how many users were being connected to the network created to monitor. The data obtained from users already connected have also been evaluated. According to the days they were connected through the networks, there is a strong demand for connected users. The conclusions show that some users are unaware of the dangers of connecting to one of these networks mentioned above and the risk of the amount of information that a person connected to the same network can obtain with the help of programs already...
