This paper aims to contribute, on the one hand, to the discussion of the homogeneous image that is constructed regarding who we are,  indigenous students; and on the other, to the knowledge of the challenges that we, indigenous youth, face in academic programs. I present the formative experiences of young men and women from different indigenous groups who attended the Indigenous Education Program at the National Pedagogical University - Ajusco Unit in Mexico city. I use interviews with graduates from the 2007-2011 cohort -of which I was part- to discuss what it means to be an indigenous student at the university, what their main problems and expectations are through their training, how they are seen in their communities of origin after becoming professionals, and if their access to the university caused loss of cultural identity. Methodologically, this research was carried out in th...

There is at present in Peru an important concern in the knowledge society to respond to the demands of the productive sector already that during these last decades the specialties in each college were introduced on the initiative of the teachers, without any study of the labor market or the needs of the different regions, nor of the contributions of the industrial engineers to secondary education directly or indirectly. Currently not enough to have manual skills, but a set of capabilities that graduates will enable them to solve problems and perform in different posts or create their own businesses. The current approach that gives the education for the job is not geared toward this.Throughout the development of the chapters you will find also the references on the requirements of the industry by people trained in certain skills and on the other hand will be able to appreciate the strong ...

The objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of the GeoGebra software on the problem-solving skills of two-dimensional geometric figures in a sample of 53 university students distributed in two groups (control -experimental) evaluated in two moments: before and after the intervention. . Parametric tests were used to compare independent and related pairs and nonparametric tests were used to compare between classification levels. The results showed that the post-test experimental group was the one that presented the best performance, demonstrating that the use of GeoGebra software improved the solving skills of this type of mathematical problems, promoting collaborative work, social-student integration and improvement of the classroom climate. It is recommended to extend the use of this tool with other applications that help the teaching-learning process.

The present study was established with the purpose of determining the level of creativity of the children of the Pre-scholar Educational Institution N ° 598 "Los Amautas" - Sócota, Cutervo. Considering that when carrying out the corresponding analysis of the problem it was found that there is a low level of development of creativity which limits the development of the learning process of the educational institution. The study design was a pre experimental type. There was a sample population of 47 boys and girls, who after receiving the stimulus, showed a significant degree of achievement of the level of development of creativity, since a large part of the study group that was at the low level had emigrated to the medium and high levels, becoming a very homogeneous group. From the verification process, we proceeded to analyze, interpret and discuss the results, concluding that the use o...

The general objective of this research was to establish the effect of the application of the GeoGebra teaching methodology program on mathematical competence in an educational institution, Cuzco 2023. In order to carry it out, a quantitative approach, basic typology and quasiexperimental design were used. For this purpose, two groups (control and experimental) were selected, each comprising 28 students. A test was carried out in 2 moments: a pretest and a posttest after a total of 10 sessions where the main mathematical competences were strengthened through the use of GeoGebra software. After applying the tests, since the data were parametric, Student's t statistical analysis was used. The results showed that the application of the program significantly improved mathematical competence, since the p-value was less than 0.05. In the case of the specific results, the application of the soft...

Facing the challenges brought by Higher Education growth, the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) created the Psychological Support Services. They seek to help the adaptation to the university setting, enhancing the overall students´ development and their integration in the labor market. This qualitative research studies the structure of the Psychological Support Services in HEIs of Portugal and the main activities developed by educational psychologists. Interviews were conducted with eight services and showed that all services are designed for students. Although the most frequent activity is the students' psychological consultation, educational psychologists also develop a variety of interventions: skill development programs, support to students with special needs, and mentoring programs to welcome new students. Traditionally the services were oriented by an individual intervention an...

At present, within the formation of Health Human Resources, three pedagogical models could be identified: transmission pedagogic that states ideas as well as knowledge are the most important topics regarding education, thus the student must receive what the "instructor", or the textbooks. Behavioral pedagogic with emphasizes in training, empirical and operative manifestations of knowledge, attitude and skill improvement. Finally, trouble pedagogic, which states that the student skill is the main point for social transformation in order to find out actual problems and seek for an original as well as creative solution. Thus, the ability that must be developed is to ask relevant inquiries in any case, to understand THE PROBLEM and be able to solve it properly. This model is based upon the constructive theory, where the student builds up his or her own knowledge, thus it is not important to ...
