Narrative recreations about the life of Inca Garcilaso are full of anachronistic elements, for they are current interpretations of the past, which deal with the role of his figure in the Peruvian cultural imagination. This work analyzes the way in which contemporary Peruvian narrators have recreated Garcilaso’s participation in the war of Alpujarras. The recreation of this military episode in Garcilaso’s life and its impact on him unfolds a empathy towards the Moriscos as a matter of identity around the literary construction of Garcilaso as a character.

El obispo de Trujillo dejó un testimonio gráfico de su visita pastoral a las provincias serranas del norte del virreinato peruano en el llamado Códice Martínez Compañón (1782-1785). Las partituras contenidas en ese documento son una fuente primaria indispensable para aquellos interesados en las músicas vernáculas del mundo andino. De hecho, algunas tonadas y bailes del Códice son, para muchos, evidencia de una historia de mestizaje cultural y de supervivencia de músicas prehispánicas. Otros añaden que la hibridez estilística de esa música podría interpretarse como un espacio de resistencia o contracultura indígena. El ahora llamado “Ensamble Códice” es una orquesta conformada por alumnos y egresados de la especialidad de Música de la PUCP, que hace arreglos contemporáneos de música peruana y latinoamericana, de parte del repertorio del Códice Martínez Compañón. Esta banda se genera dentro del contexto del curso de Ensamble Proyecto en el 2018, para el cual se involucra al maestro Arturo “Kike” Pinto como profesor de dicho curso, posteriormente director y arreglista musical, y hacia final del 2019, asesor del proyecto. El conjunto está enfocado en la difusión de este patrimonio cultural y en la revalorización de las piezas incluidas en el Códice (una de las primeras músicas populares en quedar registrada en partituras de nuestro territorio). In the following pages, we propose to approach, in part, the poetic world of the book Trilce (1922), by César Vallejo. We will concentrate on the exegesis of two poems of the aforementioned volume: «II» and «V», which are exemplary expressions of Vallejo's great vision of temporality and the love relationship. The title of the article is intended to emphasize the need to read with freedom, which is why we have established a special relationship between Trilce and Rayuela, since we understand that these two books demand an active, participatory, and creative reader.

With the integration of technological devices as iPads, Kindles, laptops, etc. the objectives, experiences and actors that participate in the reading process are inevitable affected, re-configuring the concept. This is why it is worth to distinguish both scenarios and generate a conversation that lead us to integrate both worlds and make reading a rewarding experience that’s integrated to digital life.

The procedural charges that arise as activities of the parties in the jurisdictional process become like the original gender of the burden of proof; these are in the conceptualization of the thoughts of Goldschmidt and Carnelutti. The doctrine has treated procedural charges by basing the part of the discussion itself and is a faculty of an obligation; however, the controversy arises from the observation of the dynamics of the procedural norm and its structure, from which arises the consecutive character that generates the conduct of each one of the parties. It is precisely this dynamism that allows the party to opt for a positive behavior of the omission in which the right to defense in the trial materializes

Oral implantology is the discipline that has revolutionized dentistry, and it is of crucial importance to carry out a practice applying clinical procedures based on scientific evidence. Likewise, multiple protocols and consensuses have been developed. That is why success lies in performing an adequate preoperative analysis (clinical and tomographic), applying solid theoretical bases and evaluating risks in each case to carry out predictable and successful treatments. This text offers an overview of the reception, acceptance of the work of Ricardo Palma at various times in our history, from the publication of the first collection of the Peruvian Traditions (1872). There are some reactions of Peruvian critics and intellectuals about the work of the traditionist, although references are also made to those of other nationalities (Ibero-American), making references to the existing cultural and political environment. It concludes with the re-meaning of life and work of Palma, based on the actions of the Ricardo Palma Institute, in the new century, and its impact on the interest of the author of the traditions.
