The task of the university professor is a mission and not simply a profession and that is why higher education should be impregnated with values. Nowadays education is articulated into three areas: the State, the Market and the Volunteering, but no one of these three sectors by themselves has covered the needs of all the citizens, there have always been losers, therefore the conjunction of the three sectors became necessary. Communitarianism promotes an ethical-social pact that favors the progress of society without nullifying the individual dimension. It believes that the university is the space where a communitarian consciousness should be promoted to generate a social capital by means of education and it is a privilege place to substantiate the moral identity of the person beginning with the commitment of the professor with the university student.

Desde hace más de tres décadas se utiliza la evaluación de la labor docente basada en la percepción de los alumnos. Considerado como uno de los modelos con mayor historia y utilización en las instituciones. Este artículo trata de identificar el concepto de buen profesor universitario de acuerdo con las características psicológicas valoradas por los alumnos. Para ello se llevó a cabo un estudio longitudinal cuantitativo que investigó una muestra de más de 6000 estudiantes, de manera repetida, a lo largo de un período de 10 años. El profesor se posiciona como una figura clave en la relación familia-escuela en los primeros niveles de educación. Desde esta perspectiva, el artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación fenomenológica realizada en cuatro escuelas primarias de México. Buscó comprender la perspectiva del profesor sobre la participación de los padres en la educación y su propia participación en la relación familia-escuela. Participaron 17 profesores, su selección y el tamaño de la muestra fueron determinados por muestreo selectivo y saturación teórica. Se usó la técnica de la entrevista individual. The teacher's work and practice in the classroom provide us with information about the mathematical workspaces that the mathematics teacher provides. In this research report we reflect on the ideal Mathematical Workspace (MWS) of a university professor. The ideal MWS is concerned with studying the mathematical activity that the teacher promotes in the classroom when working on a class session on the subject of the derivative. Based on the case study method as a valuable research tool, which records the teacher's behavior involved in the studied phenomenon.

La vida laboral en el siglo XXI se caracteriza por una gran demanda de recursos físicos, psicológicos y emocionales a los profesionales que ofrecen un servicio en constante interacción con otras personas, por ejemplo: los profesores. El principal objetivo de la investigación fue conocer la relación entre el síndrome de burnout y la resiliencia en profesores peruanos. The purpose of this study was to understand how reflection on practice contributes to the teacher training of Chilean university professors. The research was a qualitative type based on the narrative method, and the technique applied was the semi-structured interview. 30 professors from two universities in Chile were interviewed. The main results lead to clarify that the reflection on the teaching practice represents a favorable route for the teacher's training. In particular, three critical aspects that from the voice of the participants contribute to teacher training are recognized: reflections on teaching practice; reflection from dialogue with peers and experts; and reflection on the practice that emerges from the interaction with the students themselves. This study aims to know how the training processes of practicing teachers contribute to the construction of beliefs about teaching at the university. Froma qualitative methodology with agrounded theory approach, professors from public and private universities were selected through theoretical sampling. In-depth interviews were conducted to collect data whichwere analytically coded.
