From its inception, Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC) has functioned under the mandate of causing a disruptive effect in society by educating a new generation of holistic engineers bound to become empowered change agents. El presente trabajo está basado en la aplicación de la química computacional y de teoría cinético molecular en el estudio de reacciones químicas de especies con interés atmosférico. Estas reacciones involucran compuestos halogenados (presentes a nivel de traza) y otros contaminantes gaseosos orgánicos e inorgánicos. El cálculo de los coeficientes de velocidad de reacción “k” permite determinar si una reacción es viable o no bajo condiciones normales de presión y temperatura atmosféricos. Para la determinación estructural y termodinámica de las especies involucradas en las reacciones consideradas se utilizó el programa Gaussian09 y para la cinética de estas reacciones se implementó el programa MESMER. The objective of this article is to evaluate the effect that virtual teaching learning generates in the evaluation of teaching performance, from the perspective of the students, of the professional mechanical engineering school. During the development of the research, it has been determined that the planning, communication and overall performance factors of the teaching performance have experienced a positive variation of 63.64%, increasing by 3.8%, when moving from the face-to-face environment to the virtual teaching-learning environment. While the didactic strategies, organization and subject mastery factors have experienced a positive variation of 59.09%, this increase represents 1.92%. The following article is an attempt to present the psychological analysis of a film by NicoleKassell, director of cinema of the United States, entitled “The Woodsman” or “The lumberjack”,a movie that is the story of Walter, a former inmate who spends twelve years in prison for sexualcrimes committed to girls and after completing his sentence, released from prison to enter ina society which is not located which does not feel belong and which remind continuously thepathological of his being. From what is shown in the film, the particularities in the experience ofthe protagonist, the diagnosis of pedophilia, will review possibilities of his childhood psychosexualdevelopment, its link with a colleague and the role of the society in similar cases.
