Determinar si la escala Helsinki tiene mayor o igual efectividad que la escala Rotterdam en la predicción de mortalidad en pacientes con traumatismo encefalocreaneano del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo entre el periodo de Enero 2012 a Diciembre del 2019. Material y métodos: Se realizó un estudio de tipo transversal analítico retrospectivo de tipo prueba diagnóstica realizado en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, empleando una muestra censal en pacientes con diagnóstico de traumatismo encefalocraneano en el periodo de Enero del 2012 hasta Diciembre del 2019, los cuales cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y obteniendo un total de 242 pacientes. This article seeks to analyze the function of the International Criminal Court (ICC) from the analytical horizon of critical studies and the particular contributions of the Helsinki School and social idealism. To achieve this objective, the main postulates of both perspectives are compared towards the concept of international criminal justice (ICJ), in general, and towards the performance of the ICC in its time of validity, in particular. The methodology used is that of a documentary analysis with a strong inclination towards texts of a theoretical, doctrinal and jurisprudential nature.

Introducción: El traumatismo craneoencefálico, es una de las principales causas de mortalidad y discapacidad a nivel mundial, especialmente en adultos, se considera como la interrupción del funcionamiento cerebral u otra evidencia de lesión cerebral provocada por una fuerza física externa, y afecta anualmente a más de 69 millones de personas en el mundo. The aim of this study was to determine semiquantitatively megakaryocyte glycogen and related parameters as an aid to diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). The tests were applied to 100 patients diagnosed with ITP from various hospitals and clinics, and 100 apparently healthy subjects who was gave informed consent according to the Declaration of Helsinki. Investigating the presence of glycogen in megakaryocytes of bone marrow smears using the method of peryodic acid-Schiff and complementary tests of hemostasis: platelets by the method of Rees-Ecker, mean platelet volume (MPV) using the automatic analyzer Sysmex XE-2100, prothrombin time, partial thromboplastin time (PTT), bleeding time, fibrinogen, hemoglobin and red blood cell count by the usual methods. Introduction: The Declaration of Helsinki recognizes the importance of Institutional Research Ethics Committees (IREC) in experimental studies for consideration, comments and guidance; which has been included in international and Peruvian legislation as a standard of good clinical practice. This study seeks to characterize the IREC that have evaluated clinical trials (CT) framed in the Peruvian Regulation, period 2010-2023. Material and methods: Secondary source. The population was the CT submitted to the National Institute of Health. Inclusion criteria: CT registered in the Peruvian Registry of Clinical Trials, and as exclusion criteria: i) CT with repeated registration, ii) registry without information on the IREC. Se evaluó el efecto hipoglicemiante del extracto acuoso de las hojas de Smallanthus sonchifolius (yacón) en pacientes con Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 2 determinándose periódicamente las concentraciones de glucosa, hemoglobina glicosilada (HbA1c), fructosamina y perfil lipídico, como factores de riesgo.
