Introduction: Double contraceptive protection, considered as the joint use of a condom and hormonal method or IUD, is increasingly necessary because it increases safety against the risk of sexually transmitted infections, as well as pregnancies due to failure of a temporary method in stable couples of course, as recommended by the World Health Organization, which motivated this study. Objective: To determine the use of double protection in users of hormonal methods and intrauterine device at Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, 2020.
