El objetivo del presente trabajo fue evaluar en una muestra de gays y lesbianas, las emociones que experimentaron en su primera relación sexual, así como la relación con el uso de condón, planeación, concenso y edad del debut sexual. Participaron 336 hombres y mujeres, quienes respondieron en línea el cuestionario de Emociones, Estrés y Afrontamiento y algunas preguntas adicionales sobre su primera relación sexual. Se encontraron diferencias significativas en las emociones que experimentan hombres y mujeres, y entre aquellos que usaron condón, planearon y consensuaron su primera relación sexual. Los resultados se discuten en términos de cómo las emociones pueden afectar la vida sexual de gays y lesbianas.

Using an immunocytochemical technique, we have studied in the alpaca brainstem the distribution of immunoreactive structures containing prodynorphin (alpha-neoendorphin)- and pro-opiomelanocortin (adrenocorticotrophin hormone (18–39) (ACTH), beta-endorphin (1–27))-derived peptides. No peptidergic-immunoreactive cell body was observed. Immunoreactive fibres were widely distributed, although in most of the brainstem nuclei the density of the peptidergic fibres was low or very low. Introduction. The distribution of the immunoreactive cell bodies and fibers containing neurotensin in the alpaca diencephalon was determined by an immunohistochemical technique. Material and methods. The study was carried out in four male alpacas that lived at sea level. Brains of deeply anesthetized animals were fixed by perfusion with 4% paraformaldehyde. Cryostat sections were stained by a standard immunohistochemical method. Results. Cell bodies containing neurotensin were observed in the zona incerta and hypothalamus. A low/moder-ate density of these cell bodies was observed in the lateral hypothalamic area, anterior and dorsal hypothalamic areas, suprachiasmatic nucleus, periventricular region of the hypothalamus and in the ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus. Phyllodactylus sentosus is an endemic saurian from Peru, which is categorized by the IUCN Red List and Peruvian legislation (DS N.° 004-2014-MINAGRI) as Critically Endangered. The aim of this study was to establish artificial incubation parameters in the species to increase the knowledge of its maintenance in captivity and to contribute to conservation programmes. Five eggs were artificially incubated from the clutches of three free-living gravid female individuals of P. sentosus kept in captivity. Incubation periods between 85 to 93 days were recorded, at an average temperature of 26 °C and relative humidity between 76 to 80%.

The objective of the present work was to evaluate in a sample of gays and lesbians, the emotions they experienced in their first sexual relationship, as well as the relationship with condom use, planning, consensus and age of sexual debut. 336 men and women participated, who responded online the Emotions, Stress and Coping questionnaire and some additional questions about their first sexual relationship. Significant differences were found in the emotions experienced by men and women, and among those who used a condom, they planned and agreed on their first sexual relationship. The results are discussed in terms of how emotions can affect the sex life of gays and lesbians.

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la estrategia de aprendizaje predominante que se relaciona con el desarrollo de la autonomía de los estudiantes del VII ciclo de una institución educativa pública de Lima. Se desarrolló bajo el tipo sustantivo enmarcado y el enfoque cuantitativo. Su diseño fue no experimental y transversal correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 171 estudiantes, a quienes se les aplicó dos cuestionarios. Los resultados demostraron que la estrategia de codificación de información ejerce mayor peso en el desarrollo de la autonomía de los estudiantes en cuestión. Así también, es una estrategia de riesgo que significa que un estudiante que no la maneje presentará siempre bajos niveles de aprendizaje autónomo.

New manufacturing and rapid prototyping technologies have fueled the creation of affordable and easy to replicate upper-limb prostheses. In this matter, many types and designs of 3D-printed upper-limb prostheses have been created over the last years. However, there is no consensus in the testing methodology for these devices regarding their mechanical capabilities and the comparisons authors can make are limited to their own metrics, which could be considered as a subjective approach. In order to tackle this issue, this work revises the existing methods for testing both the mechanical resistance and the mechanical performance or efficiency of upper-limb prostheses; specifically, the ones that are relevant for 3D-printed body-powered prostheses. Clinical observations of 35 youths who used hallucinogenic drugs for two to four years are mostly present . The proportion of males was three times compared to women , almost all households were from well integrated and belonged to a higher socio- economic level or medium . The widespread of 3D-printing technology has resulted in the appearance of many open-source prosthetic hand models, especially for partial hand amputations. However, most of these designs are not editable and while some are parametric to some degree, customization for every user is limited to scaling the size of a base design. As consequence, most prostheses fail to closely match the user specific anthropometry and have poor aesthetics, which could result in abandonment of the device. Potato is economically important in Peru, which is the first potato producer in Latin America, however, the quality of native potatoes need to be improved to increment their consumption. An automatic classification process to detect potato defects is important within the entire production chain to guarantee the high quality of the product. In the present research, a Convolutional Neural Network is used to detect defects in the Huayro potato surface. This is an Andean potato originally from Peru and is special because it has very marked eyes that can complicate the differentiation from pests that leaves holes in the potato. The effect of tomato lycopene-rich extract (TLE) addition on shelf-life of linseed oil was evaluated. Linseed oil was extracted by cold pressing and TLE by supercritical CO2. Linseed oils with and without TLE addition were characterized for moisture, color, refractive index, fatty acid composition and antioxidants. Adding TLE to 80 mg lycopene/kg oil improved linseed oil stability, showing the same induction time at 110 °C (by Rancimat) of control linseed oil with 200 mg/kg butylhydroxytoluene. The increase of free fatty acid, peroxide value, p-anisidine value, K232 and K268 at 40, 50, and 60 °C until 90 days followed first-order kinetics. Rancidity rate augmented with temperature.
