Clinical observations of 35 youths who used hallucinogenic drugs for two to four years are mostly present . The proportion of males was three times compared to women , almost all households were from well integrated and belonged to a higher socio- economic level or medium . The drugs used were marijuana , LSD , barbiturates , mescaline , afetamina , methaqualone and alcohol, in various combinations . All of these young people showed signs of psychological disturbance , personality disorders generally , before starting the use of hallucinogens . In this series it has been shown that sympathomimetic drugs (marijuana , LSD, mescaline and amphetamine ) can trigger severe acute psychotic symptoms , sub - acute and chronic . Two cases of communicating hydrocephalus with normal cerebro-spinal fluid pressure are reported. Both patients were referred because of mental deficiency associated with severe behaviour disturbances. The ventriculo-atrial shunt, using the low pressure Pudenz-Heyer valve, modified considerably the behaviour disorders and the intellectual quotient in both patients.

Based on 78 cases of irreversible coma, studied clinical, electroencephalographic and neuropathologically, you come to a new definition of death. Ethical, forensic, clinical and therapeutic features of this conceptual innovation on one of the basic problems of medical practice implications are discussed.

Clinical and developmental data of 79 patients suffering from deep coma associated with isoelectric electroencephalogram for at least 24 consecutive hours are presented. The neuropathological study showed that the vast majority had ischemic lesions in the cerebral cortex hiccups field , cerebellum , striatum , thalamus and to a lesser extent , in the brain - stem . Failed to check precise relationship between the clinical manifestations of the specific nerve dysfunction and destruction of neural territories.
