Palabras clave- Energía solar, irradiancia, sistema fotovoltaico y energía eléctrica.ABSTRACTThrough this work we explain a method to provide electrical power to a group of people living in the district of San Borja - Lima, through a PV system, which is not common in the area. Through this work we explain a method to provide electrical power to a group of people living in the district of San Borja - Lima, through a PV system, which is not common in the area. This would help to reduce emission levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) to the atmosphere. It has been determined by the Solar Atlas of Peru that the coast region solar power reaches 6 to 6,5 kW.h/m2 per day, average in the month of March, if we convert this data to energy is equivalent to 21,6 to 23,4 MJ/m2, which is of great advantage for the proyect.

This work studies the interaction between natural dyes obtained from Peruvian Zea mays and Bixa orellana seeds and nanostructured titanium dioxide, in order to evaluate their function as sensitizers into solar cell devices. The effective attachment of dyes to the TiO2 layer is corroborated by the comparison of UV-Visible absorption and FT-IR spectra of the extracted dye solutions and sensitized TiO2 electrodes. The principal compounds from the seed extraction of Zea mays and Bixa orellana are cyanidin-3-glucoside (C3G) and bixin respectively, which were analyzed in an isolated dye/cluster TiO2 system by molecular dynamic simulation. The results showed that chemisorption is carried out through a consecutive deprotonation process, and Ti-O bond formation by the monodentate OH and COOH anchoring groups, for C3G and bixin respectively. Finally, we tested the effect of the dye - TiO2 interact...

In Peru, as in many countries, road transport is dominated by vehicles with gasoline or diesel internal combustion engines, which represents a challenge for decarbonization in the world. In industrialized countries there is an interest in electric vehicles, with the aim of achieving their objectives in emission reduction, to improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. That is why the trend is to electrify the vehicle fleet, thereby reducing fossil fuel imports, thus progressively eliminating energy dependence. Lima has a serious pollution problem that is due to the transportation sector, both due to the emission of gasses, as well as noise, traffic and a poor transportation system. For this reason, it is important to evaluate the environmental impact produced by electric vehicles at different penetration rates in the private sector transport fleet. In this work, an econometr...

Photoluminescent graphene oxide particles (PGOPs) were synthesized by hydrothermal treatment. The relative transmission spectra of the PGOPs in the infrared region between 800 cm?1 and 4000 cm?1 showed frequencies that characterize chemical species such as ethers (C[sbnd]O), ketones (CO[dbnd]), carboxylic acids (COOH), double bonds of carbon (C[dbnd]C) and water (H2O). The emission wavelengths were 568 nm for graphene oxide with green photoluminescence (GOGP) and 634 nm for graphene oxide with orange photoluminescence (GOOP) when excited with a light source of 375 nm. Moreover, the detection of light emission at 600 nm in the photoluminescent excitation (PLE) spectrum is detected with more intensity in GOGP than GOOP due to the presence of groups C[dbnd]C and carboxylates ions ([sbnd]COO?) linked to graphene (GN) and the photon effective emission time according to the decay profile for e...

Corn is the most cultivated cereal in the world, however, only 20% of the total mass corresponds to the edible part, leaving the rest as wastes, whose recovery is still a challenge. In particular, in Peru, maize crop residues usually get disposed by open-air incineration, impacting the nearby grounds and releasing greenhouse gases. Addressing this problem, this research focus on the extraction of cellulose from corn husk waste through the combination of both mechanical (drying, milling and sieving) and chemical treatments (alkaline treatment and bleaching). The cellulose was extracted with a 79.4% yield while its purity was estimated on 70.3%. On the other hand, the crystallinity and morphology of the sample were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The diffractogram allowed the identification of intense peaks in a characteristic pattern of c...
