Present study aimed to identify the relationship between aggression and Internet addiction. Sample consisted of 2225 high school students, aged 13 to 19, from third to fifth years. They came from 13 cities representing coast, highlands and jungle Peruvian regions. A comparative and correlational descriptive study design was used and the Buss & Perry Hostility Inventory (1992) and the Internet Addiction Test by K. Young were the instruments applied, previously adapted to national reality. Results show positive relationship between Internet addiction and aggression and among all components of both research variables. Men tend to be more physically and verbally aggressive while women tend to experience more anger and hostility. The present study aimed to establish if learning styles related to the career chosen by university students. One thousand thirty six students, both male and female, aged 16 to 28, from different faculties of San Marcos National Major University were assessed with Kolb Inventory of Learning Styles. Outcomes show a systematic association among categories of learning style variable and some categories of career variable. This would mean that probability to study a defined career is not independent from learning style. Associations among sex and age variables and learning style were also found.

The research presented was to establish whether there was any connection between the personal factors of resilience and self-concept in primary school students in Lima. For its performance was evaluated at 420 students, of both sexes, aged between 10 and 12 years, who were in the fifth and sixth grades of primary schools from different Lima state who completed the inventory of factors personal resilience proposed by Salgado (2005) and Self-Concept Questionnaire proposed by Belen García Garley, adapted to our reality for purposes of the investigation. Results showed that correlation exists between the personal factors of resilience and self-concept. He also found a relationship between the factors self-esteem and empathy with all components of the self-concept. This research had as purpose to establish a relationship between metalinguistic abilities and memory in students of first and second grade in Metropolitan Lima. A sample of 164 children were assessed, between first and second grades of primary school, both of sexes, whose ages ranged between 6 and 7 years olds, who applied the Metalinguistic Abilities Test by Gomez, Valero, Buades and Perez (adapted to our reality by Panca, 2000) and Digit Span Subtest of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC III). The results showed a correlation between metalinguistic abilities and memory of children. A positive correlation was found between syllable segmentation, syllable deletion, rhyme detection, join the phonemes and phoneme counting with retention of digits in forward order, and negative correlation between syllable addition and retention of digits in progressive order. The basic objective of this research was to conduct psychometric adaptation of the Spanish version of the Aggression Questionnaire (Buss and Perry, 1992; Andreu, Peña and Grana, 2002). It was worked with 3,632 from 10 to 16 years, of both sexes, of 1 º to 5 º degree of secondary education, fromdifferent educational institutions of the coast, highlands and jungle of Peru. This study analyzes the structure of the questionnaire through exploratory factor analysis evidencing the model proposed by Buss and determines acceptable internal consistency. The results obtained show an acceptable fit to the four-factor model, adequate internal consistency, scales percentile and interpretative rules.

The present research work started with an objective of establish if it existed or not relation between family climate and aggressiveness in students of 4th and 5th of high school from Metropolitan Lima. The sample comprised 237 students of 4th and 5th of high school level, of both sexes, with aged between 14 and 18 years, from different educational state centers of Lima to whom were applied the Hostility Inventory of Buss-Durkee, proposed for A. H. Buss and A. Durkee in 1957, adapted for Peru by Carlos Reyes R. in 1987 and the Family Environment Scale (FES) by R.H. Moos, B.S. Moos and E.J. This research had like a purpose to establish a relation between the Moral Judgment and the Interpersonal Values of the students of 4th. and 5th. of High School, from male and female, whose ages were of 14 to 18 years old, coming from various state’s educative institutions, from Lima and Jauja, they answered a Development of Sociomoral Reflection Test by Kohlberg, adapted by Majluf (1986) and the Survey of Interpersonal Values (SIV) by Leonard Gordon, adapted by Higueras (1972) and Perez (1987). The results were processed by the squared Chi, and it was founded that Moral Judgment and Interpersonal Values are correlated. The Moral Judgment is related to the dimensions of Conformity, Recognition and Benevolence. The present study had as objective to analyze the validity and reliability of the Questionnaire of Attributional Styles (QAS) of Alonso and Sanchez (1992). It was worked with 324 subjects from 14 to 16 years, of both sexes, of 4 º and 5 º degree of secondary education. The results demonstrated that scores obtained through the QAS are reliable. Equally, it is possible to conclude that the above mentioned test possesses construct validity, since judges’ criteria and the correlations of each block with the module reach significant values, matrix of correlations reports significant associations between areas and the factorial analysis demonstrates existence of two factors.

La investigación que se presenta tuvo como objetivo establecer si existe o no relación entre el estilo de aprendizaje y la profesión elegida por estudiantes universitarios. Para tal efecto, se evaluó a 1,036 estudiantes, de ambos sexos cuyas edades fluctuaban entre los 16 y 28 años de diferentes facultades de la UNMSM a quienes se aplicó el Inventario de Estilos de Aprendizaje de Kolb. Los resultados muestran que hay una asociación sistemática entre las categorías de la variable estilo de aprendizaje con determinadas categorías de profesión. Lo que significaría que la probabilidad de estudiar determinada profesión no es independiente al estilo de aprendizaje. De igual modo se halló que las variables sexo y edad, están asociadas con el estilo de aprendizaje.
