The purpose of a dictionary -whether it is called Vocabulary, Lexicon or Dictionary- is to provide lexical information about a given language or languages, which means that in a work of this type we will find, in alphabetical order, the list of nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, etc. The dictionary provides this kind of information because the person who consults it is basically looking for the meaning of the words and, if possible, something about how to use them.

The theme we have chosen makes it inevitable to focus with special attention on a serious problem that has plagued the country for several centuries. It is an issue that has always been postponed and ignored, because it denotes the political abuse of all governments. It is especially avoided every time that "the finger is put in the wound", when finally it is a question of reaching a fair and humane dialogue with the government and its relevant authorities.

(cf. Montaño A. Mario, 2006, p, 41).

Gerald Taylor, the renowned specialist in the Huarochiri Manuscript (HM), translated the Quechua text and provided a phonological writing, but a grammar analysis or a description of suffixes was beyond the scope of his work, so we set about analysing the suffixes. This article is based upon research carried out in the project «Estudio de los sufijos del Manuscrito Quechua de Huarochiri (s. XVI)» (‘Study of the suffixes in the Huarochiri Manuscript (16th century)’) in which we analyzed the suffixes used in the Huarochiri Manuscript (HM), both those of the noun and verb paradigms as well as the enclitic ones. In the noun paradigm the features of formative suffixes have been described, which helps to know the «cloaked» root of words ending in -n and -y, like hatun wakin, uray. In the verb paradigm the presence of suffixes such as -mpu and -tamu has been recorded (these suffixes are ...

This article provides the most important results of an investigation carried out in 2017 in the Ayacucho region that had the objective of determining the theoretical and methodological guidelines necessary for a teaching method of Quechua for receptive bilinguals in Quechua from this region. This objective led us to carry out a state of the question on the studies of Quechua linguistics, linguistic application, applied linguistics and sociocultural studies on Andean communities that serve as the basis for such guidelines. Additionally, this review allowed us to show the need for new descriptive studies of the Quechua language and aspects of language planning of this language.
