In this research, the influence of the stiffness irregularity and the p-delta effect on the structural behavior of a reinforced concrete building is analyzed. The main objective is to determine the impact of the stiffness irregularity and the p-delta effect on the structural behavior in regular and irregular buildings. First, the linear dynamic analysis procedure is performed in order to determine the structural response in terms of drifts, shear force and moments per floor. Subsequently, we proceed with the nonlinear static analysis procedure to obtain the capacity curve of the structure. Coreopsis (Asteraceae) sect. Pseudoagarista is the largest section in the genus. It is disjunct between the high mountains of Mexico and high elevations in the Andes. Most species in the section are similar in floral and fruit characters, and aredistinguished primarily by leaf characters. Despite the morphological similarity among all species, the monophyly of the sectionhas been called into question by molecular data. La presente investigación psicométrica de tipo tecnológica, planteó como objetivo general revisar las propiedades psicométricas de la escala de permisividad sexual premarital de Reiss (PSP) en estudiantes femeninas de 3°,4° y 5° de nivel secundario de tres instituciones públicas del Callao. La escala original presenta 10 ítems lo cual fue reafirmada en el análisis del estudio piloto con 110 estudiantes, corroborando el modelo original. La muestra estuvo conformada por 1 013 estudiantes, utilizando un tipo de muestreo no probabilístico- por juicio. Así mismo, se obtuvo la validez de contenido mediante el criterio de jueces, a través de la V. de Aiken con valores aceptables p>0.80. The virtual public space tends to be articulated as an extension of the contemporary public sphere. However, this is a process that is not being developed horizontally at a global level, there are countries that, like Peru, are identified by the predominant mediation of traditional media, as a consequence of the digital divide, according to which approximately half of the population is still not connected. This study presents the results of a survey of 720 university students in Peru, and our interest lies in describing aspects such as the relationship between trust and consumption of digital media in this country; the main characteristics required of an informative website; the most used interaction mechanisms; and, ultimately, how a group so relevant to Peruvian democracy, such as young university students, tends to channel their participation and experience online.

The zoonotic liver flukes Fasciola hepatica and F. gigantica co-exist in parts of Africa and Asia. The two species have similar life-cycles but different transmission characteristics. Although the identification of adult Fasciola to species level is traditionally based on differences in size and shape, recent studies have demonstrated this method to be unreliable. Species of Fasciola can be distinguished by staining and comparing the morpho-anatomy of the gut and ovaries or by iso-enzyme analysis but such approaches are time-consuming and require specialist skills. Fasciola hepatica causes significant morbidity and mortality in dairy cattle in the Andean region of Cajamarca, Peru, where prevalence of infection of up to 78% has been reported. ELISA and Western blot analyses were used to characterise antibody responses in dairy cattle to adult F. hepatica to excretory-secretory (E/S), somatic (SO) and surface (SU) antigens. Three groups of dairy cattle - calves, heifers and adult cows - naturally exposed to F. hepatica in this region, were monitored every 2 months over a 2-year period. Calves, heifers and adult cows all had antibodies which recognised a 28kDa protein in the SO preparation, whereas only adult cows had antibodies that recognised a 28kDa protein in E/S products. An ELISA was developed for the detection of Fasciola hepatica antibody in serum of cattle. The assay was applied to sera from 258 naturally infected cattle, 256 non-infected cattle and six calves experimentally infected with F. hepatica. The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of the ELISA test was 98% (95% confidence intervals, 96-100%) and 96% (95% confidence intervals, 93-98%) respectively at a cut-off value of 15% positivity. The results using sera from the experimentally infected calves showed that antibodies were first detected 2-4 weeks after infection. The ELISA test was also compared to the commercially available Bio-X bovine F. hepatica ELISA kit. A subset of 39 positive sera and 47 negative sera were selected from the samples used to evaluate the in-house test. The results indicated that the agreement between the two tests was almost perfect (k statistic=0.82).
