Los bosques montanos forman parte del hábitat de los primates, pero no existía información del número de especies que habitan y del estado actual para la mayoría de ellos. La carencia de información fue lo que motivó a la conducción del estudio y fue orientado a determinar la diversidad y su abundancia, así como a identificar las actividades antrópicas que constituyen amenazas para sus poblaciones. Desde Junio del 2014 a Octubre del 2018 fueron conducidos censos por transecto lineal en 24 sitios de muestreo correspondientes a las regiones de Amazonas, La Libertad, San Martín, Huánuco, Ucayali y Pasco. Se registraron 205 grupos pertenecientes a 11 especies; de ellos, 88 agrupados en 10 especies correspondieron a los bosques montanos de Huánuco; siendo Cebus yuracus y Lagothrix flavicauda los más avistados. Bats are one of the most diverse groups of mammals in Peru, and they are also the most feared by the human population, which mostly ignores the qualities and ecological potential governed by their feeding strategies. Therefore, we had the objective of knowing the diversity of these flying mammals in the hill forests of the upper Itaya river basin, in the department of Loreto, Peru. Between 2009 and 2011, we took captures at the understory and middle canopy level in 50 sampling units. The result of the effort of 1800 hours/net 0 registered a species richness ( D) of 47 species, equivalent to 79.6% of the total estimated for this part of the 0 Peruvian Amazon. The D shows significant differences at the stratum level (t = 3.28, p = 0.01), with a greater number of understory species than the middle canopy. Presenta los conceptos básicos de zonificación ecológica económica y cómo ésta se articula a los procesos de ordenamiento y desarrollo territorial sostenible. Además, presenta los resultados obtenidos del proceso de ZEE realizado en Tocache, así como algunas recomendaciones y reflexiones sobre el camino que falta para recorrer de aquí en adelante, con la visión de que Tocache se consolide como un territorio de oportunidades, partiendo de sus capacidades humanas y con la mirada puesta en el desarrollo humano como objetivo fundamental de todo emprendimiento o actuación en el territorio.
