Small and medium-sized enterprises have always proven to be crucial to national economies, yet many of them fail for a variety of reasons. One of them is selecting an inadequate supplier that does not meet the needs that the company requires to properly perform its core business. Therefore, this project proposes to develop a web application to select the best supplier option for a company. The main objective is to assist in decision making and reduce costs with a web application that implements the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP), based on a series of criteria and priorities chosen by the company itself. Embryo selection by using morphological characteristics has been the main tool to select the best embryo to transfer in assisted reproduction technology (ART). However, embryo development is a dynamic process that cannot be monitored with conventional microscopes. The introduction of incubators with an integrated micro-camera system, denominated time-lapse incubators, has allowed to register morphological and kinetic events in human embryos, becoming useful markers for embryo selection. In this report, we present the first pregnancy in Peru using morphokinetic parameters in a time lapse incubator.

In this article, the Design Thinking technique will be used to solve and evaluate the problem of the selection of software quality metrics, considering some techniques for the collection of ideas that can support the development of a solution purpose to the problem that in this case is the quality assurance based on the evaluation metrics defined in the current known standards. All this is possible thanks to the support of web tools that provide templates to cover the phases of Design Thinking. The details of the phases are also made starting with the Empathizing phase followed by Define, Devise, Prototype, Test and finally arriving at the results and conclusions found after the whole design thinking process. The results are expected to help build quality software and be used in a real project and in its different stages making the software successful in the market.

Este trabajo presenta el desarrollo de un sistema web basado en modelos de lenguaje grande (LLM), específicamente GPT-4, para optimizar la gestión de reclamos en una empresa del sector telecomunicaciones. El problema central identificado es la demora significativa en la atención de reclamos, ocasionada por procesos manuales, sobrecarga operativa y falta de herramientas tecnológicas que permitan una clasificación y resolución eficiente. La fabricación de botones para prendas de vestir a partir de las semillas de tagua en el Perú ha sido una actividad poco difundida en los últimos años. Esto conlleva a que la producción por parte de los artesanos y pequeños productores sea baja, ya que no cuentan con maquinaria autónoma que realice múltiples procesos. Además, el costo de estas máquinas autónomas es alta y transportarlo es dificultoso por su peso y tamaño, los artesanos optan por máquinas pequeñas que realizan un proceso en cada ciclo de producción. In order to evaluate the forms of interaction in the main Instagramers from Peru and Colombia, an exploratory analysis of their profiles was carried out on the Instagram audiovisual platform during 2019. For this reason, firstly, the Heepsy tool was used to establish the influencers with greater impact within the platform in both countries and then, through the monitoring tools Fan Page Karma and Social Blade, to determine a set of variables and parameters regarding their interaction. The results show that the audience index is higher for Instagramers from Colombia than for the ones from Peru. Style transfer is a natural language processing generation task, it consists of substituting one given writing style for another one. In this work, we seek to perform informal-to-formal style transfers in the English language by using a style transfer model that takes advantage of the GPT-2. This process is shown in our web interface where the user input a informal message by text or voice. Our target audience are students and professionals in the need to improve the quality of their work by formalizing their texts. Disruptive technologies and their impact on journalism and communication force us to assume challenges in learning new techniques for data and information processing. Interdisciplinary knowledge is evident in the teaching of new professional profiles. Data journalism is an example of this, so the immersion into a data culture must be preceded by awareness in the learning of news applications, algorithms or the treatment of Big Data, elements that configure new paradigms among journalists of the media on the Internet. With the revision of texts, direct observation of selected applications and case study, some conclusions are established that contain a growing demand in the knowledge of new techniques. The results show the use of technological resources and the proposal of changes in the curricula of the communication faculties.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) represents a medical condition characterized by the presence of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, which affects the academic development of students globally. In Peru, it affects a proportion of the pediatric population ranging from 2% to 12%, with a prevalence of 12.1% in South Lima, particularly in public schools. This research presents an online application with machine learning to improve the detection of ADHD in elementary school children. Several machine learning algorithms were reviewed and Random Forest was selected as the best-performing model with an accuracy of 96.08%. The model uses 27 selected variables, optimizing data collection and training. Software development using the agile approach with SCRUM presents itself as an alternative to traditional methodologies, offering incremental, iterative features and continuous code delivery that ensure a product adaptable to changes. However, this approach faces challenges in terms of secure development, as threats and vulnerabilities may not be adequately addressed due to tight deadlines and frequent changes in requirements. In this context, a framework for secure web software development using Agile Methodologies (SCRUM) is proposed. Based on the literature, eight security activities have been selected for this purpose and integrated into the development process, considering their level of agility and cost-benefit. The validity of this proposal was confirmed through an instrument that gathered the opinions of 45 experts in the software development industry in Peru.

Remote work has raised questions among companies and employees regarding its effectiveness and development. Therefore, the objective of this research is to answer the question: What is the impact of remote work on organizations? To achieve this, a systematic investigation was carried out using the Prisma method, which allowed the identification, selection, and analysis of various articles from recognized databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. In the initial search, 54,003 articles were found, which were filtered according to various criteria, resulting in 30 final articles. The results show that remote work can have a positive impact on job satisfaction, work-life balance, productivity, and innovation. However, some negative impacts were also identified, such as increased fatigue, social isolation, and lack of communication.
