Introduction: Learning assessment is a process where it is important to incorporate students through self-assessment, to involve them and make them responsible for their learning. Objective: To investigate the usefulness of self-assessment from the perspective of higher education students. Method: The methodology is mixed, with a qualitative analysis carried out in ATLAS.ti and a quantitative analysis developed in SPSS and Excel. Results: Self-assessment is not frequently used since only 23% of the participants have used it with a high frequency. Conclusions: a) An area of opportunity is for students to compare their learning with their peers’, b) for effective self-assessment, students must strengthen their confidence in themselves, c) it is necessary for teachers to incorporate activities after self-assessment, d) the use of self-assessment is useful if its implementation has a goal ...

The work presented in this article is carried out within the framework of the International Standard ISO 9004: 2009: which is a self-assessment tool to improve the quality of organizations and the proposal of Andrew Churches: The digital taxonomy, based on Taxonomy from Bloom. Both approaches, properly applied, allow efficient use of ICT to achieve meaningful learning in students of regular basic education at the secondary level. The International Standard ISO 9004: 2009 presents a general framework, for the development of this work, only some criteria that have been contextualized for the use of ICT in the teaching process have been taken into account, considering the current educational model of the new design curricular Likewise, the criteria of the norm have been articulated with Bloom's Taxonomy for the digital era, which, when applied, can achieve significant student learning.

The objective of this article is to describe the satisfaction of students with the use of technological simulation tools in learning in the automatic process control course, as part of the pedagogical update in the context of dis-tance education. The Academic Satisfaction Scale (ESA) was used as a meas-urement instrument, the reliability of the data was performed through Cronbach's alpha, giving a consistencyvalue of 0.949. When developing the re-search, it was determined that 56.8% of the students are satisfied with the aca-demic experience of their learning using technological simulation tools in the virtual environment. Background Active Learning using smartphone technology can be implemented as a tool for teaching medical students (MS) and residents (Rs). The use of technology would increase participation and enhance student learning by engaging them in solving ID clinical case scenarios. The purpose of this research was to determine how the Cuadernia educational software contributes to the teaching - learning process and the academic performance of Mathematics in fifth year students of the educational institution Nr. 5143 Talent School of the Constitutional Province of Callao. Objective: To evaluate the advantages of using movies as a tool in the teaching-learning process in medicine and health sciences PhD programs. Materials and methods: Twenty-one (21) PhD students participated in the study: nine (09) from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres (USMP) and twelve (12) from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM). This paper addresses the self-management processes of change, referring to a series of processes that take place in education centers undergoing change. The perspective from which the approach is proposed is educational management. The evidences integrated into the document are the result of a study conducted in Uruguay, which involved seven primary, secondary, and technical schools. The approach used has been the study of multiple cases with the intention of analyzing the phenomenon in specific contexts, integrating the possibility of studying it from a global perspective. This study describes the practices and attitudes of 350 business administration students from three universities from Lima (Peru), regarding the use of digital tools in the writing process. Using a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional approach, a single questionnaire is administered that addressed the use of digital tools, academic performance, and plagiarism detection, which are analyzed using the statistical software Jamovi. The results show that 63.7% of the students use tools for paraphrasing and 33.7% for drafting complete essays. Detection by instructors is low (35.1% for paraphrasing and 22% for essays), highlighting a significant gap in technological knowledge.
