OBJECTIVE: The absence of an universal classification for hyperthyroidisms (HT), give rise to inadequate interpretation of series and trials, and prevents decision making. We offer a tentative classification based on gammagrafic and functional findings. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Clinical records from patients who underwent thyroidectomy in our Department since 1967 to 1997 were reviewed. Those with functional measurements of hyperthyroidism were considered. All were managed according to the same preestablished guidelines. RESULTS: HT was the surgical indication in 694 (27,1%) of the 2559 thyroidectomies. The objective of the research was to demonstrate that evidence-based learning as a didactic strategy influences the production of functional texts in university students. For this, the following methodology was used: quantitative approach, experimental level, quasi-experimental design. For data collection, the observation and survey technique was used: the instrument used was the rubric —differential semantic scale—, and knowledge test —measures the intellectual part—. To express the data, visual representations, tables and figures were used, obtained through the SPSS v.26 software. The statistical results allowed us to test the hypothesis through the Mann-Whitney U, indicating that the experimental group presents a better result in relation to the control group. In conclusion, evidence-based learning is an advantage for the development of the production of functional texts.

Objective: To determine the relationship between competency-based management and job performance of the administrative staff at EPS Seda Huánuco S. A., as of 2023. Materials and Methods: This research is of an applied type, with a correlational level, using a non-experimental correlational design. The population and sample comprised the 57 employees of Seda Huánuco, to whom a survey technique was applied, using a questionnaire as the instrument. To determine the results and test the formulated hypotheses, descriptive statistics were applied for frequency tables and graphs, as well as inferential statistics, where the correlation index was interpreted. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a widely used material in container manufacturing, particularly in bottle production. It is characterized by its low cost and widespread availability. However, its improper disposal has significantly exacerbated global plastic pollution. For instance, less than 50% of plastic bottles are recycled. Moreover, studies indicate that this issue has led to a significant accumulation of plastic waste in the oceans, which continues to grow annually and could be considered floating islands of debris. This study proposes replacing PET with polylactic acid (PLA), a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer with suitable properties for bottle production. For some time he has worried us the problem of Tropical eosinophilia and Loeffler's Syndrome, for this reason we decided to address the issue in its clinical, hematological and some biochemical blood aspect. The first step was to acquire the optimal technique as regards hematology the objective was achieved thanks to the occupation we play in a clinical laboratory. Then the serial and systematic study of all patients who came to our hands in the period of one year was made. The base of the research study consisted of 9 patients with Tropical Eosinophilia in that span. We present the clinical interpretation, haematological and biochemical findings in blood, performed serially.

A simple retrospective design was proposed with a sample of 200 children, aged between eight and twelve, and their representatives, in charge of reporting the food insecurity levels in their homes and the symptoms of perceived hyperactivity in their children. For the analysis of results, the non-parametric Mann-Whitney´s U technique was used to compare anxiety, depressive and hyperactive symptoms based on high and low levels of food insecurity. This paper discusses the changes to the rulemaking process performed by the National Health Authority (ANS) during a decade, as an expression of the exercise of its health-related regulatory function. Before the implementation of said changes, the initiative for rulemaking was freely taken by the proposing entities. This situation led to an increased risk of mistakes, and the lack of a standardized methodology and an organized structure of the Regulatory Documents (DN) to be approved by the Ministry of Health. This study describes the axiological model of the technological package as a pre-patentable foundation of innovation, designed to articulate the value dimensions underpinning validation, transfer, and potential impact on preventive health. A descriptive, non-experimental study with a qualitative–analytical approach was conducted through structured documentary review and hermeneutic content analysis. Maintaining the stability of bipedal walking remains a major challenge in humanoid robotics, primarily due to the large number of hyperparameters involved and the need to adapt to dynamic environments and external disturbances. Traditional methods for determining these hyperparameters, such as heuristic approaches, are often time- consuming and potentially suboptimal. The objective of this work was to analyze some molecular processes of the nucleic acids that suggest the confirmation of the ID theory, through the technique of documentary content analysis. Some dye-sensitized solar cells were prepared using TiO2 modified with CuO (TiO2-CuO) like a working electrode. P25 commercial powder and small amounts of CuO powder were used in preparing the modified coating. The coating was deposited following doctor Blade method, on a conductive substrate SnO2:F, which was previously deposited on a TiO2 blocking layer by spray pyrolysis technique. This paper analyzes the information treatment of the Mapuche people in the newspaper El Mercurio during two periods. First, between 1950 and 1973 (twentieth century); and second, during the years 2010, 2013 and 2014, (21st century). To this end, a corpus of 340 journalistic texts has been selected, of which 147 correspond to the 20th century (1950-1970) and 193, to the 21st century (2010, 2013-2014). The analysis shows that most of the frames are linked to conflicts, criminal prosecutions and arson attacks; so that El Mercurio prioritizes connotations and negative events to inform about the Mapuche indigenous people.

En el ovino, hay una relación de la masa de los músculos crurales con la mayor o menor aptitud a la marcha, a su vez quizás relacionada con las proporciones corporales, por lo que podrían darse diferencias funcionales entre razas, a tenor de aptitudes motoras diferentes. El hueso calcáneo representa la base de inserción de los músculos crurales responsables en parte de la marcha. Para corroborar esta hipótesis, se obtuvieron imágenes digitales de 28 calcáneos de ovejas domésticas de cuatro razas de la Península Ibérica: Churra, Merina, Merino preto y Merino branca.
