The Peruvian Amazon region is experiencing a number of impacts such as deforestation which results in loss of vegetation cover and consequently reduced habitat for wildlife. The aim of this study was to evaluate the entomological diversity in an ecosystem in a natural regeneration process (BS) and a primary forest (BP) in Bongará, Amazonas, Peru. The insects were collected using pitfall traps, with bait and malaise, which were arranged in a cross system having as midpoint the center of each area. The collection was made during three periods: dry, semi-dry and rainy. 18650 insects and 150 families distributed in 13 orders were classified. Those Orders who had a higher percentage of richness and abundance were, respectively, Diptera (24%; 45.2%), Coleoptera (24%; 26.4%) and Hymenoptera (21.3%; 14%). Comparing the two areas assessed, BP had a higher abundance compared to BS. The two most a...

This research aims to contribute to the study of seismic behaviour by evaluating the seismic performance of reinforced concrete wall structures through the development of a representative archetype. This archetype was elaborated based on the analysis and systematisation of ten structural plans of real buildings that share similar characteristics. The methodology followed includes the non-linear static analysis to determine the data that will help to plot the capacity curve of the structure. This process is carried out with the Stera 3D software that provides the data of the capacity curve, then the demand curves or demand spectra are elaborated according to the indications of the vision 2000 committee. Subsequently, the structural performance point is determined through the intersection between the capacity curve and the demand curves, which makes it possible to identify the level of per...

Historically, we have sought to reconcile the interests of workers and company owners, recognizing that the efforts of employees should be rewarded and motivated, as well as the vision of investors. We propose a mechanism where shares are awarded to outstanding workers based on their performance, subject to ongoing evaluations, with the possibility of recovery for non-compliance. Shareholders welcome these workers, but the shares are expected to be non-transferable and not part of a succession process, seeking to balance the needs of the workers with the protection of shareholder interests.
